Collins Scrabble Dictionary Gem Edition: The words to play on the go

I have started doing scrabble on line words with friends and found this dictionary essential for me. I hadn’t realised there were so many 2 letter words and three letters used in scrabble. I also commend 101 ways to win at scrabble. I find myself scrabbling through that one a lot and my success has improved. Some of the small words though in the book is not accepted by scrabble on line.

What can you dislike about a dictionary. Small and compact and useful for lots of new words in the English language to help when arguments ensue in a game of Scrabble! Bang up to date....

The book was smaller than I expected so reading glasses were definitely needed but it has helped avoid a lot of family arguments - 'if it's not in the book, it's not on the board!'

Great little book! So many words that you would not think about being correct. Loving it as a family

As a new scrabble player this has been invaluable!! Still cant been my husband tho, but somehow he always manages to get the high scoring letters out of the bag 🤔

Bought for my Neighbour's Birthday. She Really Enjoys Scrabble and this helps her keep her Vocabulary Competitive !

A small and compact book easy to handle. Have only used it the once in a game and was disappointed as the word I made 'initiate' did not appear in the Official Scrabble Dictionary enabling me to use all my seven letters, by adding them to a letter on the board, so it was contested by the other contestants. The Concise Oxford Dictionary had to be consulted to prove that the word did actually exist!!!

An excellent little book full of information and easy to store. Only the Christmas after dinner game will prove how worthy it is!!

Petites dimensions , 12cm x 8cm , beaucoup de mots n'ont pas de définition , néanmoins ils sont acceptés cela arbitre toute discussion . Il a été utile lors de notre dernière partie .
