Very good, metal feels soft and goes blunt quick but a quick sharpen and your good to go,

Use them commercially and love them. have the whole set and multiples in the same size. Closest chisel I can find to the original butt tang stanley chisels that are rarer than hens teeth.

Ideal to have in your pouch.

Very well priced for a quality constructed, durable chisel. I was a bit disappointed with the terrible edge it comes with, the back needed serious work to flatten including removing the black paint they have coated it in, both edges of the chisel point was rounded over slightly, so i spent a good hour on a diamond stone to get it flat and a sharp square bevel at the business end. It is a nice short, sturdy chisel though, takes nice shavings and can see me using this a lot. I perhaps was expecting the finish to be of higher quality, it just takes a bit of work to get it to a nice polished razor sharp edge. Good quality steel though and a reputable brand
