Oral-B Rechargeable Toothbrushes are what would have made my life as a teenager a hell of a lot more bearable, I used to have to go to the dentist regularly to have a clean and polish. I'm now in my 60's and although I still visit the dentist for regular check ups as everyone should do, these Toothbrush heads really make a day to day difference. Providing they are used with the right kind of toothpaste, these heads will instinctively improve your dental cleanliness from day one. All the energy that we had to use up using ordinary toothbrushes are now a thing of the past thanks to Braun's Oral-B Toothbrush and the Braun Oral-B EB18-4 3DWhite Replacement Rechargeable Toothbrush Heads available in a reasonably priced 4-Pack.

They are very good, oh for the record , one time I got ones that were generic heads, but do not buy fake versions as they won't spin right on the body of the brush and you only get what you pay for and then you will just throw them away as they won't oscillate . I still wonder what the yellow circle is in the middle ,it states it is a rubber cup and polishes your teeth. I don't know but me and my family have not needed any dental treatment for as many years as I can remember, not even scale and polish cos we all use these heads on our oral b brush . We have a couple of bases and all have our own colour-coded head. It is going to put dentists out of business LOL!

Bought to use with a Professional Care 3000 brush holder, in conjunction with the Oral-B EB20-4 Precision Clean brushes. I use the Precision Clean brush last thing at night and the EB13-4 3DWhite in the morning after breakfast. I never read the instructions (of course, I am a man!) but luckily a review on the brush holder explained that you spend 30 secs on each quadrant of your teeth and the holder vibrates each time to tell you to move on. If you're pressing too hard the red light flashes. I'd been wondering what it meant! Anyway after a couple of weeks a friend asked what had happened to my teeth - I think she thought I'd had them whitened. I hadn't. It's just that they are very clean and shiny, and must have glinted in the lights in the deli. I've just had a routine dental check and for the first time ever was told I didn't need to see the hygienist for a clean and polish. So I am absolutely delighted with the brush holder and these brushes. They're not cheap but I think they're worth every penny. I could do an advert for them!

I bought these for my Braun Oral-B Triumph 5000 Five-Mode Power Toothbrush with Wireless Smart Guide after sticking to the standard Braun Oral-B EB20-8 Precision Clean Replacement Rechargeable Toothbrush Heads (Pack of 8) (Packaging May Vary) for many years. The "dentist inspired rubber polishing cup for naturally whiter teeth" in the centre of each toothbrush head is a mystery to me I must admit. It means that the toothbrush head is oval rather than round, with less bristles and probably a slightly larger overall area. Does this clean and whiten your teeth better than any other type of Oral-B toothbrush head? I remain to be convinced, although obviously I haven't carried out any scientific studies to verify the veracity of the claims. I brush my teeth twice per day, sometimes I use different toothpaste, sometimes I used mouthwash a couple of times per day and sometimes I don't. Having changed to these toothbrush heads for at least three months now, I don't notice any significant whitening of my teeth. I don't stand in front of the mirror saying cheese particularly often, but you'd notice if there was a significant change in the colour of your teeth, and I haven't (nor has anyone else commented). My teeth aren't particularly sensitive so I don't feel any noticeable difference when using these 3D White heads compared to the Braun Oral-B EB20-8 Precision Clean Replacement Rechargeable Toothbrush Heads (Pack of 8) (Packaging May Vary) , nor do my gums bleed or feel any discomfort. I'm not a dentist, but in my unqualified opinion you're probably just paying slightly more money for something that makes little or no difference. Having said that, these toothbrush heads do clean as they are supposed to and I can't find any fault with them. If you're bothered by such things, they are packaged better than other toothbrush heads tend to be as each head has its own little sealed plastic compartment within the packaging. The usual coloured bands are supplied for each head to help differentiate between multiple toothbrushes in the same bathroom, if you have that problem.

I've been using these heads for a few years now after switching over to an electric brush. The brush along with these heads have completely transformed my oral health. My teeth feel cleaner, look whiter and has made my dentist very happy too! Pros - Brushing feels more effective - Helps whiten your teeth - You really get a clean feel - Keeps your dentist happy! - Probably saves you money in the long run keeping your teeth healthy Cons - Tad expensive for refills I really recommend these if you've already got an oral B electric brush and want to try and whiten your teeth a little. I would also say stick to changing them every three months for the best results!

I was told by my dentist and hygienist of premature wear facets on my canines which is one of the tell tale signs that i am brushing too hard (i think because of OCD). Decided to try these out instead of using dedicated gum brush heads. I've been pleasantly surprised with their performance. Brushing with these is like polishing an expensive car panel with a orbital polisher. I have been satisfied pairing these up with Colgate total toothpaste; which makes good foam and leaves a clean feeling mouth in the end of a brushing session. I recommend this product and will buy again.

Pros: Fits most Oral B brushes (excluding: Pulsonic, Sonic Complete, Vitality Sonic, CrossAction Power as indicated on package back) Scrubs away surface stains Has colored markers to tell brush heads apart (optional to use) (pictured, they press on the bottom) Individually packaged inside main pack (keeps them from getting dirty) Cons: I'm not really a fan of purple If you don't dry them out after use, the inside can become nasty (common to all Oral B brush heads) Long review: These brush heads do an amazing job of cleaning teeth, leaving that fresh-from-the-dentist feeling. The center polishing cup (used to be yellow, now purple in this version) gives these heads the increased whitening performance. Unlike brush bristles which use the toothpaste to dislodge plaque, the polishing cap rubs the paste against the tooth. This allows components in toothpastes, like micro-beads (or "Micro-cleansing teeth whiteners" as per Crest 3D White Brilliance Toothpaste's page) to scrub away surface stains. I can confirm they really do work. This is also a good price for this many brush heads. If you change them every 3 months like it suggests, this is a years supply for <$20. That's $1.60/month if you want to break it down that way. I did mention that these can get dirty, and that is a function of how they're designed with a little narrow hole that the oscillating metal post from the brush body inserts into. This is common to all brush heads for these brush bodies and is not specific to this brand; you can't escape it. If you are like me, you don't want to take the time to pop the brush head off after every brushing, and it will stay wet (from the water you rinse the brush with, not saliva). This wetness in a perfect environment for bacteria to build up in, and if you're really gross, you'll ignore this long enough for the brush to get a smell (pro tip, don't do that). You could take time and effort to scrub out that little hole with a q-tip if you want, but it isn't super effective. In my opinion, the easiest and best way to clean it is to use hydrogen peroxide 3% solution that you can get from many stores for about $1.50/16 oz (450 mL) or there about. Simply stick the brush head in a little cup and fill with peroxide solution at least to the small hole in the front of the brush head. Leave it overnight. It will foam and a bunch of gross stuff will pour out of that little hole. You can also cover the brush head or turn it over to get the head itself clean. I'd recommend doing this 1-3 times per month to keep everything fresh, but you're welcome to do more or less as you wish. Overall this is a great product, and I'm glad I found them here because I was looking everywhere in stores for this type of head. They're my favorite.
