Results of testing...
Lots of reviews speak about accuracy of this item...so...interested in finding out once and for all I have tested this on a motorcycle bolt and using my other 7 - 110 NM wrench. With the usual caveats in place around 'is my big wrench accurate etc etc' (I use it for my motorcycle so I am going to hope it is accurate-ish).I used the topeak wrench on a 6mm hex bolt. I did it up to 7NM and then used the other wrench to see if it 'clicked' at 7Nm. I repeated for 9 and 12NM; checking against the other wrench. The results. For each of these values the 'other' wrench would still tighten a little more on each test. Between 1 and 2 Nm. And so the topeak was perhaps not doing up quite to the indicated torque. This suggests the topeak is not accurate. However I would just say the dial/pointer has room for interpretation....What does 1-2Nm actually mean? Well, with one of the hex corners at "12 o'clock", 1-2 Nm moves the same corner to 1 o'clock, possibly almost 2 o'clock. So we are in reality talking between ¹/12 and ¹/6 of a turn. In reality a tiny amount.I know this amount could be 'the difference' but I feel for the cost etc this topeak tool is acceptably accurate and I will use it happily. We aren't doing up nuts on space rockets...just nuts and bolts on bikes. The degree of accuracy I feel is open to interpretation and dependable on your pov and required outcomes. But this is merely my opinion and experience. I hope others find this useful.Beyond this it is a perfectly good piece of kit...I actually feel it feels quite solid. It is MADE to twist remember... Other than that it is a plastic £15 piece of kit. For the price I am happy that it does exactly what I want it to, what I need it to and what I expect it to.

Well made and surprisingly useful!
Very well made, and surprisingly useful for correctly torquing items like lock-on handlebar grips, saddle mounting bolts, brake lever mounts, etc. Can't say how accurate it is, but I would imagine it's been very well tested. It's easy to use. A bit of a pain if you're tightening a bolt from underneath, though, as you have to crouch down to read the guage! (It can only be read from one side, as the plastic scale isn't transparent). It comes with several different sized allen bolt 'bits' (3,4,5 & 6mm) plus a T25 torx bit, which are securely stored in the handle. I often use my own judgement to tighten bolts, but it's still easy to under or over tighten them (especially with aluminium fitments!) if you're not careful. For safety, I think one of these is well worth having, just for peace of mind. Good value for money, too. I'm very happy with it.

Effective option for bike work, wish the handle felt sturdier
I was a bit put off this simple-looking tool by comparison with "real" torque wrenches (my existing one is massive for bike use), but shouldn't have worried: it's quicker and easier to use than the "click" sort (as long as you don't need a big lever to generate bike-screw torques), and perfect for a bike workshop. Not precision accurate, but it doesn't need to be.My only criticism is that the doubling of the handle as a hollow compartment for hex bits means that it feels plasticky and a bit liable to break... and I'd guess that's how this tool is going to eventually die. I'd have rather had a solid, ideally rubberised one, and either a separate little bit-box, or supply my own... but nevertheless, a very cost-effective solution by comparison to the moving-parts versions.

Brilliant!
Brilliant, good quality and excellent value tool, as usual from Topeak. Photo looks like it could be a bit flimsy but in the hand it has a very solid feel. The best thing about it - IT WILL NEVER NEED CALIBRATING! Almost any other (usually more expensive, and more complex torque wrench) will need expensive calibration if you check the reviews - unless you don't mind gambling, or go for a really high-end, super expensive one (with an *independent* certification). This Topeak design is impossible to go out of calibration as long as the pointer starts on 0 and the scale is not damaged to become loose - there is almost nothing that can change the bendiness of a non-corrosive rod of metal like this. A well-calibrated more expensive one would be more accurate of course but for occasional, amateur use this is brilliant!

Simple mechanical torque wrench.
My favourite torque wrenches are always mechanical. This one is simple and cheap. Obviously its not super accurate (+- 1-2 Nm maybe?) but its exactly as accurate as you need a hand operated small torque wrench to be.

Simple and inexpensive
There are quite a few home maintenance jobs that can be undertaken on a bike at home by the relative novice. Changing my standard bike stem was one such job which I felt comfortable doing, but my torque wrench was incapable of the low torque settings required which were all between 6 and 12 Nm. For very occasional use, this seemed to be a good option. It comes supplied with a selection of bits which certainly covered all the sizes I needed, is simple to operate using the easy to read scale to measure torque and is probably accurate enough for bicycle work. I like it for its simplicity and that it’ll never need to be recalibrated, although don’t forget, you will still need Allen keys to loosen off any bolts that need removing - this nice little tool is only suitable for tightening them.Every product I review is one I have purchased myself.I rely on unbiased reviews when making shopping choices so that’s exactly what you’ll get from me.
