Fresh Persimmon Fuyu 5LBS

These are better than the hachiya variety if baking because they don't have the seed issue. They're smaller than hachiyas, but I'd rather not deal with the seeds. They do take time to ripen-which by all accounts happens when they become soft irrespective of whether they have brown spots or not. I put these in the blender and pulverized them for pulp-an easy matter. I just love the complex taste of persimmons and appreciate that they're superior to native Midwestern persimmons, which are far smaller and loaded with seeds.

We ordered 4 sets as Christmas gifts. Three were never delivered (and we got refunds). The 4th order arrived in a timely way but a good number of them seemed to be bruised a bit, perhaps from shipping. However, they said they were flavorful.

Wasn't sure how ordering these would turn out, but they were very well padded -- only one of about 15 was bruised and had to be discarded. The rest were perfectly firm and of good size, so I am delighted! These are delicious and hard to find locally except in Farmer's Markets, so I am very grateful to have found them!

I received a very green fruit five weeks ago and haven’t ripen yet I wanted a ripen so I can enjoy it right away still waiting

These persimmons arrived in great shape! They were well packed/padded, and I was surprised by how quickly they arrived (the earliest day in the range of receipt dates). AND, they're delicious!Just received another order of these, and I wanted to comment that these are a good size, too! Yay!

The product was not good, the majority of the product was rotten or badly bruised. I thought packing was sufficient. The seller even sent a second box, but the second box of the product was in the same condition as the original box, Rotten or badly bruised

The persimmons are delicious for winter fruit; hower, I received 4 1/2 lbs instead of 5 lbs. 3 pieces of fruit shouldn't have been sent as they were past eating stage.

These persimmons were just perfect. Not too ripe but ripe enough.
