Paint
Great product, good coverage

An excellent paint that dries quickly.
Very easy to use and covers well - lovely finish perfect for the top coat - recommend 2 coats - I assume it's water based as you just wash the brush out under the tap which is very handy.

Does what it says on the tin
No, really...it does what it says on the tin! Nice paint, easy to apply and clean up. Opacity could be a little better, but all in all a good solid product.

Does the job but you need two coats
Two coats needed. Coverage is not dense. Otherwise goes on well. How long it works - too soon to tell.

Good primer/undercoat.
Good coverage which dries quickly. This is a good pimer/undercoat for darker colour top coats.

it does what it says
I think where paint is concerned you get what you pay for. Ronseal produsts are always good and this undercoat went on easily. two coats and then the top coat of satin gloss looked fabulous./

Thin, watery and not very good adhesion
My experience of this paint seems to go against what others are saying. Firstly, it seems to be very thin...even after a good stir and it drips easily. The adhesion isn't brilliant either. I'm using this on indoor wood and bought it to undercoat the wood in my bathroom.Even after prepping previously glossed surfaces, this undercoat scratched away very easy once dry, exposing the paint underneath. It definitely needs two coats minimum. This is the first time I've ever used a water based primer, so maybe this is what they're all like but I'm not hopeful that it will provide a long lasting base for the paint I've chosen. It's a decent price and also low odour and easy to clean up after use.

First use of a water based primer under coat.
This was our first use of a water based primer undercoat so wanted to use a product from a known manufacturer. So this was applied to a brand new hardwood front door. The application is different to oil based products so you have to learn not to go over patches already covered or it pulls off. So after the first coat you may think 'oh heck what have I done!' but following the instructions pays off as after the second the coverage was good. Well worth knocking back with some fine sandpaper as it does raise the grain. Interestingly we did use a little Ronseal two part filler to to smooth in the weatherboard joint as a recommended product for use with this paint. Very interesting that the paint would not stick to it even though it is by the same manufacturer! Top coated in Ronseal paint and the results are good after the second coat. Good adhesion and coverage inc over the filler. So I will be interested if it can make the 10 years promised on the tin.

Blue Gray.
This gray/grey paint covers and spreads well. It has a blue cool tone. If you want a warm yellow gray/grey this is not your color/colour. Otherwise, all good. Just the right thickness to brush on easy and dry to a really smooth surface. Very, very nice finish.
