I think the kit is well put together and all the attachments are perfect for hobby work, models etc and possibly some very light diy but not powerful for diy work, but the kit is advertised as hobby craft making, for that it is great and the value is superb. would recommend this buy

Poor quality construction and not robust. Does not hold charge for long. Overall you get what you pay for--low price and low quality! Fine balance but I would prefer a better quality product and would pay more.

This is a great little kit for all kinds of light hobby and craft work. Its great to have a cordless drill as when your doing light delicate work a great cord gets in the way and makes work more difficult. Bear in mind though its only for light hobby and crafting. Dont buy this and expect to easily drill holes in 1/4in thick steel as the motor isnt powerful enough for that but thats not what i bought it for. I use it for drilling small oles and shapes in plastic remote control cars and aircraft and its perfectly ok for that. There are 4 drills in the kit as thats how many different sized collets there are. There are loads of different diamond bits for etching, glass engraving, security marking. If you want a big hole just use a drill then one of the pointed bits to enlarge it. Just take your time and dont rush. If you want more power then but a corded unit but for me the convenience of cordless is great.

When I saw this "Mini Drill and Grinder Set" it looked to be ideal for my purposes. I needed a mini drill. A grinder would be useful, but I don`t need to use a grinder very often. The tool arrived and, when the case was open I discovered the instructions marked Mini Grinder. No mention of a drill. apart from 3 of the fittings which are drills but none of them the sizes that I need, everything else is for a grinder. Even on the box it says "Mini Grinder" without mentioning drills. Thus, if I saw this in a shop, I would certainly have chosen a different tool. I need a drill and grinder. On Amazon this item is advertised as Mini DRILL and Grinder. I think that this is extremely misleading. Putting drill first in the description and grinder second one expects there to be more than 3 drill bits al of which are of sizes which are not terribly useful. I am thus having to pay out more money for a set of mini drill bits Who ever put the heading to the object has been misleading regarding this tool. It is a grinder. Fortunately I still have some old bits that I can use in the meantime.

A couple of fatal flaws Id sa - one is that there really aren't 'any' drill bits in the 60 pcs - ok maybe 2 or 3 but it's actually a whole bunch of grinders.So I bought a set of mini drill bits, but the changeable chucks in this mini drill are a) very fiddly to change and b) seem to be just wrong to fit most mini drill bit sizes.For me though the most annoying thing is the design flaw that doesnt allow you to make sure the drill bit is perfectly straight in the chuck. This is for small fiddly work and if it's rotating on its axis and the hole is 3 times the size it should be - what's the point?OK maybe for grinding it's fine. hence the 2 star instead of one, and you get a lot of 'stuff' for your money which is always fun.... if you like stuff.

I was astounded by the set when it arrived considering how inexpensive it was. I truly expected to get something of much poorer quality but not so, it is fantastic value for money.

I had a mini drill that gave good service. I hope this new drill will be as serviceable.so far I have no complaints it does the job

I cannot complain about the number of burrs and other rotating gadgets. Sanding and smoothing jobs can be done but the grinder needs a bit more power for drilling.
