Vet's Best Waterless Cat Bath | No Rinse Waterless Dry Shampoo for Cats 150ml

I bought this for my 20-year-old cat who has mobility issues and sometimes gets pee on her legs. She would not like a bath, so this waterless shampoo was a perfect solution. I applied the foam to her fur, and she tolerated it really well — no fuss, no stress. Once it dried, I gave her a gentle brush; her coat felt soft and much fresher, with a beautiful shine.For the price, the ingredients are excellent — neem oil, aloe, oatmeal — all known to be soothing. It also contains sodium lauryl sulfate, which some people avoid, but it’s what helps lift the yucky stuff from the fur.Overall, this was a great buy. It’s made cleaning my elderly cat easier and less stressful for both of us. Would definitely recommend to anyone with an older cat or one that hates water!

Good product. Used on my very fussy cat. He actually allowed me to wipe the product through his fur. Smells nice and no skin irritation. Value for money.

Wow, this has made SUCH a difference.Adopted a very elderly cat with renal problems who does not groom herself at all. Her coat is starting to shine again due to her diet but it is shedding the matte greyish hair and so much dandruff!She’s terrified of everything and combing her daily is always a bit of a struggle, even though it’s really improved her look. I knew I needed to bathe her as she’s slightly smelly and doesn’t move around a lot due to her age and obviously years of abuse has made her terrified of everything (been 3 months since I’ve had her and still only little improvements). Did not want to put her through a trauma of a bath and have her hate me, so when I saw this I was so hopeful.Gave her a cuddle and subtly massaged this into her fur before combing and, oh my, it has made a world of difference in one use!Her hair is soft and shiny and the dandruff completely gone! She looks so smart! She didn’t seem to mind the process either and having the foaming pump made it so easy to do while holding her.I think it’s made her feel a bit better too as she seems in a very good mood and eating heartily.I think it really helps that this doesn’t have much of a scent, as it would disturb a cats sensitive nose (more sensitive to smells than dogs!) and seems to have rid her of the funny smell she’s had all this time!Purrfect!Additionally, I know people are upset at the SLS in this, but it’s in pretty much all our shampoos and pet shampoos. Yes, it’s the stuff they put in floor cleaners, but natural soap can also be used to clean floors as well as our hands and faces so please stop overreacting!

The product itself is good enough, smells nice, foam comes out easily. However, it is NOT a good alternative for a cat who hates baths. It is actually much harder to wash a cat with this product that it is to bathe them in the sink. I have tried several times now, each ended worse than the other, with a lot of meows, screaming and bleeding - _- the cats absolutely hate it, and it's just so hard to hold them while washing with it when they don't want it, it's easier to put them in a sink or bowl of warm water, quicker and less scratchy!

My cat absolutely despises baths, he turns the whole universe upside down, tries to climb onto the walls & screams like he's being tortured when i try to gently wash him in warm water. It really brings out the demons in him. After giving this shampoo a try he sat like an angel and wasn't bothered one bit, his fur was so soft , shiny and smelt clean afterwards.The foam is easy to apply

I decided to try Vet’s Best Waterless Cat Bath to help keep my fussy cat clean without the stress of a full bath. The foam is easy to apply and has a pleasant scent, but my cat caught on to my sneaky routine after about five days of use.So far, I haven’t noticed a big difference, but I’ll keep trying and see if time makes a difference. I do appreciate the natural ingredients and the fact that it’s gentle on his skin.It’s a convenient option, especially for cats who hate water, but patience might be needed to see the full benefits!

I have an indoor cat (he's a ragdoll) and although he is very good at grooming, he misses behind his ears and they get a bit greasy. He also manages to get food on his mane and he is basically a giant furball. He is terrified of water so we use this instead of a bath and it works great. Gets rid of the grease and leaves him smelling lovely.I bought some for my mother who has a bengal and she loves it too. Their cat is not a good groomer (stupid, fat, lazy cat!) and as she is an outdoor cat she gets covered in everything. Ziva hates everything other than Mummy, Daddy and food but she has also come to love this stuff as well as it means she is clean without having to lift a toe bean.
