Great product and good value

Just what we needed to make a sign for our wedding. We used chalk pens and it worked really well.

This is a nice board. It's got a good surface, it's light, but take note that it's made of some kind of paper composite that makes it very brittle - mine arrived broken in transit and the material is clearly not up to rough handling. Amazon refunded me, so no problems, and I will probably buy a replacement, but just bear in mind, if you are expecting some kind of solid wooden plywood composite, as I was, this is not that. Now on reflection I think the material they've chose is a good fit for normal use case - once mounted permanently, it will serve well in place. What I have to decide on is whether it fits my use case, whcih involves occasional repositioning. Damage and material aside, it is a well made product - the quality of finish is there, so I consider this to be a good product.

Arrived with damaged corners but wanted it for the next day and decided we could live with those. The first chalk marks remain visible as the black has come off. Really poor quality for the price.

Very poorly packaged. The board is in a plastic bag wrapped with a single thin sheet of cardboard which didn't even cover the ends of the board. The package had clearly been left standing in a puddle of water at some point as the cardboard was soaking and falling apart. The plastic bag inside was perforated where the board had been repeatedly stood or dragged along the edge so the water had gone into the bag and had been sitting against the board for some time causing it to be absorbed into the edge of the wood making one corner expand. Another corner was snapped due to the thinness of both the board and the packaging. Also the paint has been sprayed onto the board as thinly as possible so there are patches where it is not quite black and you can see the lighter colour of the wood showing through. Definitely not value for money.
