Sounds good in all the audio ranges, wish it had a little more power.

I had originally bought 2 speakers and just used them together to create a lil better sound in my house, which worked pretty well. But recently I discovered that there is now a subwoofer available to go with my speakers. So I bought the subwoofer and 2 more speakers hoping they would work like surround sound in my house without having to put in a full system. Now we’re talking, it sounds great!! The sound quality is so much better with the subwoofer included, so much richer, and it was pretty easy to set up even with the 2 older speakers I already had. I just had to remove it from my Bluetooth connection, and make the subwoofer the master. This is a great set too, because I can move them all around so that I can enjoy good sound quality all over my house. I recently had a gathering in my backyard, and it was so easy to move them out back to create a better ambience, even my friends were impressed with the sound. I think this system really works well for a nice solution to having surround sound at home and at outings as well. Very universal!

No one who has heard quality speakers would ever call the sound quality from these speakers good. I ordered the subwoofer as well to help round out the sound but was very disappointed at the overall performance. Most important, the maximum volume of these speakers is quite limited. The sound you do get is thin and compressed. Realize that the power supply and drivers are tiny and you'd understand why. You'll never get "room filling" sound from two of these tiny speakers, with or without the sub. The latter is boomy to the extreme unless you turn it down and then it does little to enhance the sound of the satellites. I realize this is a bluetooth boombox but at $400 it should perform much better. I have a 10 year old Fluance bluetooth speaker that was about $150 and sounds magnitudes better than these items.

The ease of use in setting up is amazing, but the sound quality for the tweeter (higher pitches) is crackly and poor. If the sound was better it would be 6 out of 5. With the sound quality being so poor it is a 3 out of 5 overall.

Amazing sound. Hard to believe this is a battery operated system, and you can take it anywhere!
