High quality DP cable
I have a scenario where DP from monitor needed to go into mini DP in graphics card and I was using a DP cable with mini DP adapter. I was faced with intermittent monitor screen flickering issue for which I had tried changing and upgrading graphics card and monitor drivers. But that didn’t solve the problem.Now I have replaced that setup with this cable without having to use an adapter- the problem seems to have gone by itself.I like both the quality and result produced by this product.

nice cable, although it would be more efficient to buy an adaptor, this is a lot more neat and tidy.

Does the job at a reasonable cost
Since working at home became a thing, I've had to explore the less used ports of my PC display which only had VGA/DVI and DP as both my PC and work laptop only had VGA\HDMI and DP, this was the best of the quality connectors to standardise on. The cable is cheap, appears to be well constructed and works without issue, can't say fairer than that.

It worked perfectly. Dell WD15 dock
Bought this to work with my Dell WD15 dock as it can't handle HDMI very well. Now I can use my dock for my external monitor.Seems well made.

Does exactly what it's supposed to and at an excellent price.The only hiccup I had was with sound routing from the laptop - within a few seconds of plugging this cable in, the DP connection hijacked the sound and routed it to my monitor. It was an easy fix tho' - I just went into the sound settings and set my usual device (an external USB mixer (a XENYX 302USB)) back to being the default. Obviously I had to disconnect the HDMI from the laptop as I can't see both the HDMI and DP inputs on the monitor at the same time, and I wanted the HDMI monitor input for something else anyway.

Great with my HTC Vive to PC
I bought this for my HTC Vive because my graphics card (GTX 980) only has one HDMI slot. I wanted to keep this HDMI slot free so that I could use a Headless Ghost in there, thus allowing me to have multi monitors in Virtual Desktop without actually having two monitors! Anyway, this cable plugs into the breakout box, and then into the graphics card. My PC recognised it straight away and I was good to get back into my VR worlds!This is my set-up as far as plugs coming out of my GPU - 1) DVI to my monitor 2) Headless Ghost in my HDMI 3) This Mini DP to DP cable from my GPU to Vive's Break Out Box!If you need any help, please ask away!
