VaxSteam Fresh Combi Classic Mutlifunction Steam Mop | Detachable Handheld | 13 Piece Accessory Kit - S86-SF-CC, White / Blue, 2.6L, 1600W

This is the first steam mop we have had and now I don't know how we managed without it !!! It was delivered quickly (by UPS) and considering we live in France the postage was very reasonable at £7 and that included the postage for a pack of 8 spare cloths that we purchased at the same time. The mop is very easily assembled, within a few minutes. The water tank is easily removed for filling and lasts long enough to do our bathroom, kitchen, lobby, and dining room floors before needing a refill. The microfibre floor cloth fits snugly underneath the mop bottom, by a kind of Velcro backing. The mop comes with one floor cloth but I ordered a spare pack of 8 cloths at the same time, and it is necessary to have spare cloths so some can be in the wash, so I recommend buying a pack of spare cloths at the same time.The mop is ready for use more or less as soon as you turn it on, a green light shows it is ready to use and the trigger is pressed in short bursts to clean without over wetting the floor. I especially like the way that the mop can get along the edges of the floor and into corners - it really does a good job and so quickly. The hand held part is ideal for cleaning grout between tiles in the kitchen and bathroom and as we live in a very hard water area, the way it can remove scale from around taps and other difficult areas to reach, needs to be seen to be believed. I haven't used it on windows yet or the hob - but so far I am more than pleased with it.For the price this is excellent value and I do recommend it - it's no bother to use and cuts down cleaning time.

Fab bit of kit so far, had a few weeks and have cleaned our floors numerous times, with ease. Have also cleaned the windows with the adaptor with great results.Well boxed and easy to assemble; construction is simply snapped into place. Just ensure all the elements of the device are fully home and the retaining latch is soundly home.Uses minimal amounts of water, takes literally 30s to roll it out, top up the water, add some detergent and get steaming. Peasy.Very easy to move, as it is not a heavy device. The chord is a good length; you will be able to whole rooms in no time at all, unless you own a huge sq footage of space, in which case your attending staff will find it a very efficient and helpful device!Because it is steam, it dries much faster than thw old trusty bucket and mop. Definite advantage! Just adds to the ease of use, enabling you to do this chore on a daily basis or tackle the tasks you have putting off more easily.Negatives?1) Having to constantly depress the trigger throughout a complete floor can give you some "finger ache", but this is all due to how efficiently it uses the water, resulting in you being able to use it for longer on a single top up. I'll accept that! :)2) The storage slots for the additional bits is pants. Put them all in a separate storage box and just put that box in the same place where you store the steamer, problem solved. :))Good purchase so far. Will be trying out the other attachments in due course! Highly recommend.

Works a treat, not to heavy and does a good job

Love It. Don't know how on earth we managed without it. We recently moved into a flat that had been occupied by an elderly woman with mobility issues before us. So many thing were left unkept for a VERY long time. One was the entrance floor to the flat. It had been stained fairly badly. We tried Mopping and scrubbing but nothing really did anything other then push the dirt about. I decided that I was going to finally break down and get a Steam Mop. I had been looking at several different ones for a couple of years now. And this was the last push to make me choose. I decided to get this model because Vax had been rated on the Gadget Show as a higher quality value for your money and with the price it was being sold at I knew I needed to act. We got it with in a couple of days of ordering it which was great. And I managed to get the husband to work on cleaning the hall. I have photos that I will share of before and after. It did take a couple of cleanings as the floor was so bad. We first went over it with the mop bit and it removed a large amount of the stain but the husband wasn't satisfied so he broke it down to the handheld and with attachments steam scrubbed the floor. I can't believe the amount of difference there is. I am beside myself. This thing really does work. It does what it says it does. And takes only moments for the water to be ready to steam. It is lightweight for what it is. And not to have a MOP and Bucket. to not have to bend over and wring out a mop every few moments and have to keep adding hot clean water to the mop bucket to keep it hot enough to get down the hallway is just brilliant. This mop takes so much effort out of a mundane chore. I felt like I was cheating somehow on cleaning. I also like that there is no soapy residue left behind. and the floors dry almost instantly after. I can't praise this little machine enough. I strongly recommend it.

Easy to set up but the only good thing was how easy it was to clean the windows without streaks. The tools don’t last long. The brush has splayed out after only using on 2 tiled showers. The steam is intermittent and you regularly need to stop and stand the hand held unit fully upright to get steam again. I found it doesn’t remove a build up of limescale on grout on tile floor. It managed to loosen mould on window frame so I could remove with a scrubbing brush but did not work on mould on grout.Floor mop - I don’t see any difference on my floors between this steam mop and my manual spray mop. I wouldn’t recommend this product and seriously thinking about returning.
