Great for practice. Key is to be able to take it on the course.

Helps groove a straight stroke. Seems like a lot of money for a piece of plastic but I've probably lost that much missing putts I should have made :-).

Please give this aid a try. It will give you that Ben Crenshaw arcing stroke. You won't have to worry so much aboutthe path of your putter. See the line, feel the putt, hear the ball plopping into the cup, then stroke along the guide. That's the way topractice with this aid, as if you are on the putting green. Make it a real stroke each time, and you will be delighted at the progress of your putting. You will see more solid, center-struck putts that ROLL beautifully on your chosen line. Now . . . just learn to read greens and you will make a ton of putts.

It's a little pricey for a plastic aide but is as advertised. It does have the two sandpaper-like grips on the bottom. It does hold it to the carpet and is especially good on the edge of a Perfect Putt mat or something similar and helps to keep it from skidding but it could easily be knocked off-line on a different surface. It would be helpful if the base was heavier or a different material- perhaps even with a rubber grip base.

Works as described

this was recommended by my hank haney teacher. take it out to a putting green. hit about 40 putts with it. it will get you in sink with your putter and make your stroke really consistent. really worth the money. you can use it inside but i find it works better on a practice green.
