Ezy Wrap Boxer Fracture Splint Hand Brace with Finger Support – Wrist Brace Right Hand with Adjustable Fit, Hypoallergenic Material & Soft Edges – Designed for Metacarpal Fracture, Sprain, or Swelling

This splint is better than a few others of a similar design that i have tried. It feels far more robust, the Velcro stays where you put it without the need to readjust every few minutes, it also is fairly easy to get on and strapped with minimal pain on the injury site (Probably depends on the injury and person, though) This splint does a fantastic job at immobilizing the digits you want, and not impeding on the others. I am able to still somewhat effectively able to use my computer mouse (it does hurt my forearm after a while of use because the angle of your arm has to be a bit different to compensate for the angle of your fingers ) I can strap up to my middle finger from my pinky so this even kind of helps for conditions like Dupentryns contracture (Which I also have in conjunction with a fracture of the 5th metacarpal) and I have been finding benefits from this outside of aiding in the healing of my injury. If you think you have a boxers fracture, get this splint and wear it whether you get confrimation or not, and then when you get into the doctor it will have started to properly heal by the time it gets confirmed leading to a much better outcome. It does begin to irritate the webbing of your thumb area due to the strap that comes around and back over your palm to hold it against your hand, but that can be overcome by wearing an ace wrap, a superskin, blister prevention band aid thing, a band aid, or any other type of skin cover that will stop it from rubbing up against you so much. It gave me a blister at first, and now has a small sore, but that is so far the only drawback of this splint. I couldn't recommend this one enough if you suspect you have a boxers fracture, or need to stabilize your 4th and 5th digits / Metacarpal The ortho said it is exactly what he would have given me and suggests, and that getting it right away was one of the better things I could have done, as it is already showing positive signs of healing.

Adjustable, comfortable, and sturdy. Easy to use. Going on 4 weeks of use and is in excellent condition.

Some things were uncomfortable but cutting them shorter mostly fixed it. At the end of the day, after 6 full weeks wearing this, my hand is healed. It was comfortable (pain gone while wearing.) Best to NOT hit a wall where a stud is located. But, this item did the job.

Extremely sturdy I like the fact that you can adjust the fingers in the support line however, I feel some parts could be better built fits to size easy to put on enough definitely worth the money

Exactly what we need for my son’s fracture. Was unable to get into Orthopedics till Tuesday. Son broke his hand on Thursday. Order this, got it next day. We went to the orthopedic, they said this was perfect and just to wear this for 4 weeks. Hand healed beautifully and my son had hardly any pain or issues the whole 4 weeks.

I had to buy this splint per my doctors recommendation since they only had the extremely expensive and unnecessary splint left. He didn’t want to foot me with that bill (highly appreciated that) and said I could either get a cast or order a splint online, so of course I opted for the splint since it’s removable for showering. To start with the good: Everything feels good, secure, and well made (overall). I like that there are multiple Velcro straps you can use to easily adjust the splint’s fit/snugness. The sizing chart is also relatively accurate. The bad: The metal bar that goes over the top of your hand is supposed to be able to bend and adjust. This bar takes EFFORT to be able to bend, as in full body weight pushing down against a table sort of effort. Having a broken hand, I can’t exactly do that on my own and wound up needing to go to the doctor’s office to have them help me adjust it. The metal bar made it very difficult to use and caused more pain until I was able to get help adjusting it. The soft part of the Velcro area for the ring/pinky finger is also getting a bit worn out from needing to adjust so much due to issues with the metal not bending.

This saved me financially when insurance wanted me to pay $300 at the medical supply storem thankfully the associate even realized that was nuts because the same thing is on here for so much cheaper!
