Really like but warning
I like this product. It's my first time using it and it's so nice to be able to work to do things without a bathroom break every hour to change pads (super heavy flow). And I liked the thought of being able to wear just liners...Warning: after about 6 hours of wear, I laid down for a nap but then needed to sneeze...TMI Disclaimer: a total flood. Ruined undies and shorts. The disc seemed to still be in place though. So just a forewarning. Wear a pad or period panties FOR SURE...just in case.

Love this little guy!
After buying and giving a few different brands, sizes, Firmness, ones with and without tails for easy removal, and shapes of menstrual discs. I know that I prefer to use the smaller sizes. This one has proven to have my back and has been faithful to me 100% from day one. Now if you're just starting to using discs don't get discouraged if he isn't as faithful to you from the jump. It's probably not this disc it's probably just the learning curve everyone experiences when switching to alternative period products. I swear though if you keep at it and get used to getting it behind your pubic bone you'll be in love. This guy may not be the one you'll prefer but I def think it's a great place to start if anything. I started with disposable ones and really felt just as guilty as if I were using the typically tampons and pads. So that's when I went on the hunt for a reusable option. I will never go back. So depending on how high or low your cervix sits with determine what disc will suit you best. I imagine It will be a trial and error type thing for most ladies. Though I'm sure there will be many just starting that find this guy is going to be their boo thang as well. I enjoy the rim on this disc as it's not super soft but not super firm either. The tail is for easy removal and I totally appreciate it. This tail is customizable . I cut mine to only be about an inch long. Though a tail or tab isn't necessary at all. Makes for a cleaner removal though. The price for this little guy is fabulous considering it's so great.Y'all just do it... Give it a go. I know you'll be happy you did. Oh and did I mention mess free sex while on the rag. He won't even know unless you tell him. Where were these disc the first 20 years of my cycle?? Thankful to have found out about these for so many reasons.

Get them!!!
I honestly really like these. They’re comfortable, I don’t really feel them when they’re in. The only thing I did was I clipped off the string piece because for me it cause some leaked while wearing it. Still getting used to how messy wearing cups could be though when removing. In general I recommend.

Pretty good
There's definitely a bit of a learning curve to these. On my heaviest couple of days, I definitely need to empty, wash and replace it every couple of hours and when it leaks, it really leaks. Not reliable to stop leaks during vigorous exercise on heavy days, so I will probably still use a tampon for those activities. They can also be kind of difficult to pull out when your cervix is sitting higher. The pull cord doesn't really help. Still, definitely better than tampons for most of the time.

Great for first time!
I decided to try a disk because pads and tampons are such an expense. I have issues using tampons because the way my uterus is tilted and my cervix is far back, I usually bleed around tampons, and I just don’t enjoy wearing pads, they’re uncomfortable and don’t sit in place while I am active in any way, or even sleeping.I ordered the shordy 2 pack because it was my first time using any reusable menstrual product. I have a pretty light flow (i can’t even fill a light tampon in 6 hours) but I also have a very high cervix and I’ve had a baby. I tried the small one first, being that I have such a high cervix, it wasn’t opening correctly which led to continuous leaking. I decided to try the larger one. This one opened up correctly pretty much immediately for me. I used it for 2 days and got confident in removing it. I realized I wasn’t using the stem at all and it was really just there for peace of mind. Well, I decided to remove the stem because it was sort of uncomfy. First time I tried to remove it without the stem, I realized it was kind of just “spinning” around and not really coming out, it was almost suctioned. I kept trying throughout the day and squatting, relaxing. I ended up going to the er because it was actually stuck behind my cervix. Word of advice: I would not remove the stem if you have a high cervix 🤣I do think the shordy brand is a wonderful affordable option for first timers wanting to invest in reusable menstrual products. I love the option and the affordability of the 2 pack. If you’re not sure if disks will work for you and you don’t want to invest too much your first time, this is definitely the right set to go with. I am recommending this set to everyone, even my nurses that were super intrigued at my visit 🤣

I would NOT have sex with this in!
I am giving this two stars because I switched from a cup to the disk for the added benefit of being able to have mess free sex while menstruating. I ended up in the urgent care for removal. The disk and cord got pushed so far that I could not reach it! Other than that, the product works well as advertised.

It's ok
These didn't work as well as I thought they would. Still leaked. Easy to get in and out tho.
