Smartish® iPhone X/XS Wallet Case - Wallet Slayer Vol. 2 [Slim Protective Kickstand] Credit Card Holder for Apple iPhone 10s/10 (Silk) - Black Tie Affair

I just got it today, so I can't really say there's anything I don't like - if something comes up, over time, I will update this review. OK - there is one thing I don't love - the color options. Black is fine, but seriously, there need to be more options. Blue is an option, but it's a weird blue. You can also 'customize' your case, but the options there are, in my opinion, pretty childish. Smartish - please make some more adult options available. Afterall, adults are the ones who typically carry plastic and need/want a case in which to carry it. I am not a reviewer - most items are 'meh' anyway, so there's no point in reviewing. I will, however, review this item, because I literally spent HOURS looking for one that met my specs, and this is the only one, out of hundreds that I reviewed, that met all of my requirements (except color). - I still like it, even after I received it and put it on my phone, so that's promising, as I am a major returner. If I don't like it, it goes straight back. This will not go back. - I like that it's a pretty slim case, even with the addition of the card pocket. - I am right-handed, so I am able to push the card(s) out, from left to right, which makes access easier than some other cases. - The card pocket is a little tight, but I imagine it will loosen up, over time. I also don't want my cards falling out, so too tight is better than too loose. - The card pocket is plastic (or something synthetic), so a PopSocket will stick, and a PopSocket is a must for me. - The sides of the case are textured, for a good grip - There is a little lip around the screen of the phone, so I think it may offer decent phone protection as well - It's reasonably priced Smartish - offer more colors, and adult options. Otherwise, great case, imho.

I love this phone case, I chose the custom feature which was awesome, the desert flower print is so cute! Even though it wasn’t prime shipping for the custom, it still got here in about 4 days, but I thought it was worth it for the cute design. It covers all sides of the phone for screen protection unlike my old case which didn’t cover the bottom (pretty scary if you drop it) and the wallet feature is the best. You can honesty fit like five cards and some cash, it will of course stretch, but really nice to have if needed. I usually only have three and it’s still nice hold. It’s also really slim which is great versus a bulky case. I had this type of phone case for five years and won’t go back to the others, I’ve dropped it numerous times and never broke my screen plus I don’t have worry about carrying a wallet. The custom design is great because you’ll take your phone everywhere you go, why not have a cute and functional one?

I previously had an iPhone 8 then upgraded to the iPhone X. On my i8 I had a great card case but now the manufacturer hasn’t made any for the newest phones. So I had to hunt for a new card case and the first two I tried and returned as soon as they came in. The first was a wallet case with a magnetic closure on the back. It looked nice but the magnet just wouldn’t keep closed. The second case was nice as well. Had a card slot on the back of the case that advertised it could hold 4+ credit cards. Well, it did that but it did not offer any drop protection on the screen. The display protruded past the protection of the case. So this Silk came in as my 3rd attempt to find a quality card case. It solves all of my problems and holds 3 credit cards. Feels durable and offers a protection that I need for this $1000 phone.

I really want to give this 5 stars. This is my second one of these cases. I bought one for my iPhone 6, which I then used on my iPhone 7 as well. I was using it for probably two years or more which is a record for me. Normally I have gotten a new case every few months because I either just got bored of a case or it just wasn’t exactly what I wanted. So, when I got this wallet case a couple years ago I fell in love with it. It not only works well, but also looks very classy. I have had no interest in getting any other case ever since I had it, so when I got my new iPhone X, I knew exactly what case I was going to get. First, the The things that I like: - This case is the same quality as its predecessor that I had - It’s thin, holds the cards securely and protects the phone well without adding much bulk Improvements that have been made: - the edges used to be much more slick, now they are nice and grippy helping to be able to hold the phone more securely and since it’s slightly bigger than the iPhone 7 this is appreciated even more - This has the slot that allows you to use the credit card as a stand. I knew that the 7+ model had that and wished that mine did too. Great addition! The Negative: - This is a rather small gripe, especially compared to all the positives and I would have given 4.5 stars if I could have, but couldn’t give 5 stars because of this.... with the iPhone 6 case that I had, the credit card slot was a very nice piece of leather that looked like a nice wallet. I really liked that a lot. This one, while it has something similar, it is not leather and doesn’t have quite as classy a look to it... maybe they used a different material to keep it from stretching too much? (I never had a problem with it stretching too much, always used it for 2 credit cards and a metro card...) it doesn’t look bad by any means, I just really preferred the old look with the leather on the back. To sum it all up, I am very happy with this purchase. I will always continue to use this case and the ones that come after for as long as they continue to make them and make them of this quality, but if they had the leather back that they used to have it would be a perfect 5 Star item. I do recommend this without hesitation.

I'm a fan of this case, when I got a phone upgrade I had really liked my old Silk case by Smartish and wanted something similar for my new one. I don't like big clunky cases so I love that this is slim and easy to hold, the textured grip around the edges is excellent. Before I was finding the glossy phone slippery which was nerve wracking being much larger than my last one but this case gives me total confidence in holding my phone in one hand. I like the card carrying design on the back, it's very striking, the texture adds to the grip feature and it holds up to 3 cards. I wouldn't have minded 4 to be honest but that would be pushing it for now, maybe after a time if it starts to get looser from use, but something to think about if you really need to store more cards. The pressure on the cards from the sleeve is quite firm so I don't worry about them falling out, it did take a little getting used to to slip them out but now it's done with ease. I think my only critique is that I wish there was more of a raised bevel in the design around the lens to help protect it from fingerprints and the likes. The previous case design had a bit more raised protection around it and I really liked that, it's taking getting used to to keep my fingers clear of the lens area now. This case keeps me a fan of their styles though and I will for sure be looking into them again for my next phone and seeing what they have.

Took a little while to get here - but I got my hands on it, it didn't disappoint. The unboxing was really fun. Comes in a great package. I didn't realize it also came with a screen protector, so that was a bonus. The design on the back is dope. I hold 2 cards and cash in it and now I don't need to also carry around a wallet! The case definitely added a bit of bulk but I'll just have to get used to that. I was worried the grip was going to make it hard to get it in and out of my pocket - but it doesn't. It's not a "sticky" kind of grip. More of a "rough" kind of grip - which I prefer. Definitely seems solid and will protect my phone. Meets all my needs! Love it.

Omg I love this case sooo much!!! It’s so much more beautiful in your hands. I had a silk case before for my iPhone 7 (the wallet slayer volume 1)- that was awesome and work well. However i like this one SO much more!! I fit 4 cards in no problems (my bus pass, debit card, credit card and drivers license). I had the case delivered from USA to Canada and it was within the delivery time expected :) highly recommend this!

This case protects my phone really well and I love having my license and a little cash always on me.
