I added this marine collagen to my daily regimen. I was already taking bovine collagen, but decided to alternate between the two hoping to get a more rounded benefits. I have a problem with elevated hematocrit, and after taking the additional supplement for a couple of months, I started not feeling very well. After going through all of my supplements that I was taking, I found that collagen can be responsible in elevating hematocrit so I had to stop. I told my doctors about the experience and they told me they’ve had other patients tell them the same thing. So please be aware when adding collagen into your daily regimen.
