Impressive product but understand its applications and how to use it.

use: Adding a layer of PEI plastic to an aluminum 3d printer heated bed. Great stuff very strong adhesion. The first time i did it I accidently ended up with wrinkles. It was a pain to remove. When actually worked to remove the old layer of this stuff I used a 3d printer spatula and wd40. Yes I said wd40. It and liquid wrench were the only things that I could find that acted as a solvent on this stuff (I tried paint thinner, acetone, rubbing alcohol, wd40, liquid wrench). Put the special 3d printer spatula under and in the gap spray the wd40. Then cleaned the wd40 off with acetone. I highly recommend the 3 pack. This time I ended up with a handful of bubbles when I put the first layer down. While I still had the paper backing on top, i used a needle to pierce the bubbles and then press the paper down. The needle trick worked better than i thought. Then i took off the top layer of paper and put the PEI 3d printer surface later. I'm happy with the end result.

This is perfect for iPads, and iPhone screen/digitizer replacement, I have now used this single sheet to do 1-iPad 3rd gen, and 2-iPhone 4S. With these 3 applications I have hardly used much approx 5-10%, at this rate it should last me a few years (depending on how many more people break there devices).Originally I was worried when the product arrived, It felt much thicker than the small individual pieces that sometimes will come with the replacement screens. It was the same number though 3M 300LSE. Turns out the backing on these sheets is thicker than the precut style. The adhesive seems identical, and it has worked great for my installs. It is a bit tricky to cut and get it into the shapes you need, I recommend using an exacto knife or razor to cut it. I also recommend taking a few practice cuts so you can see how much force is needed and how best to pull it apart. With a little practice it becomes easy. This is a great value, pre-cut adhesive kits are usually $5-6 for iPads, this piece for $12 will cover at least 10-15 iPads.

It sticks really well to low energy surfaces. Its not thick.
