I was skeptical that this would do what I wanted, but I needed a handle to help my elderly mother get in and out of the bath, so gave this a try. I am pleased I did. Even without the locking tabs this thing already has quite a grip. With the locking tabs down, I think I would pull the tiles off the wall before this would come off the tiles.

This is to me a brilliant piece of kit. I have bought 4 large and 1 small for my long shower cubicle. As I am waiting for a new hip and knee the shower could be quite dangerous!!! By siting these where support means safety they assist balance not your full weight. Please remember the instructions for the surface they are to be attached to.. Get that wrong and they will not adhere correctly and become a safety risk. Again, I am extremely pleased with my purchase and would recommend them.
