Updated review; Exactly what I was hoping for!
Update 12/16/15: I was contacted by the seller stating the product I received did not meet their normal standards. They offered to send a replacement wallet. The replacement wallet meets the advertised quality. The stitching is much more clean, in line and makes the wallet look like a much sleeker product. I am now much more happy to pull this out of my pocket to show off to friends and family. When full, the wallet does tend remain open (about 25 degrees) when sitting on a table. The seller recommended trimming the removable plastic liner of the wallet. I worked! the wallet lies closed!. Such a simple fix! Thank you. Over all the replacement is far superior to the original. If you are looking for a slim wallet that you can barely feel in your pocket and still holds all your stuff, This is the one. ************************************* Old review: I bought this wallet looking for a slim design and based on reviews I read online. Yes it is slim even while holding 5 cards and an ID. But at a $45 price point, the quality and finishing is not what you would find with other $25 wallets. This stitching is sloppy. It does not follow a straight line, it is not equidistant, at times doubling over. After a month of use the stitching is starting to fray and where it is knotted has a loose end hanging out. It looks especially fragile around the ID window. It looks like something I would get at a dollar store solely because of the awful stitching. The wallet feels stuffed with 5 cards and an ID. Over time the material did stretch but still stays open at a 25 degree angle when resting on the counter. It just feels a tad too small to fit everything properly, if there was just an extra 2mm of space to accommodate folding in the middle it would work just fine, but it doesn’t. probably because the stitching is done so poorly. Basically, I will use this until I find something else. I am upset at the cost, I will not give it as a gift and I certainly will not recommend it to family or friends until the workmanship and quality of the product is improved.

Thin, Functional, Durable. My Quest for a Perfect Wallet is Over!
This wallet is simply amazing. It uses the thinnest material possible, yet this material is extremely durable. I love the simplistic design. In the pictures I provided, I have about 7 or 8 bills in it and 13 cards and it is still extremely thin. Remember, your wallet can only be as thin as the thickness of all the cards you are stacking inside of it! This wallet gives you the best opportunity to keep it as thin as you possibly can while still being able to expand to hold a lot if needed. I could probably stuff at least 3 or 4 more cards in the back slots if I really needed to, but I've found that 12-13 cards is the comfortable limit. I stick two cards in each side of the front slots, and the remaining 9 cards in the back slots behind the bills. Keep your 4 "go-to" cards in the front. The way this wallet is so flexible it allows you to bend it 180 degrees backward while you are accessing your cards in front of the bills, and easily get your fingers around those cards in the front (two on each side), in order to quickly pull any of them out with no fuss (see pictures). I've been wearing this wallet in my pocket pretty much every waking hour for the past few months and it still looks brand new with no signs of wear. It seems like it is built extremely well and will last for decades (perhaps I'll post an update in 10 years, LOL). I was nervous about investing so much money into a wallet, but now that I've experienced it I'm so glad I trusted the reviews and tried it out. Since I plan to have this wallet for many many years it made sense to me to pay a little more and really have an enjoyable experience. Do yourself a favor and get this wallet. You deserve the best! UPDATE 11-7-2021 It has now been two years since I bought this wallet. I’ve used it daily and it looks practically brand new still. I’m baffled at how resistant the material is to wear and tear even after years of use! I’m convinced this wallet may just never wear out? I’ll check back in another few years for another report!

Very Good Little Wallets
Just bought my second Slimfold micro. I got 5 years service out of my first one, and honestly could have gotten more. I love these little wallets because I can carry 5 credit/ID cards (RFID protected) as well as driver license and cash. They are small enough to be convenient for front pocket carry, which makes me less susceptible to pickpockets, yet easy enough to access and use. Strong, lightweight, and well made. So much better than bulky back pocket wallets that were giving me spine problems.

A great wallet!
This was the second time I purchased this wallet for my partner. He had it for nearly 4 years. So, that tells you about the quality of the product. He loves how slim the wallet is and that it has RFID blocking.

Quality product so far
Light weight, slim, soft, looks good, seems like sturdy material but have only had it a month. Everything fits, but it makes me a little nervous that cards could fall out of the open slots, so far it hasn't been an issue but I have been careful.

Super thin and light, holds everything securely. Thinner full than my old wallet empty.
I have had this wallet for a couple weeks now and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. I had a thin leather wallet previously and while it was thinner than most wallets it was too thick and if I had it in a back pocket it was uncomfortable to sit on. I tried a few other thin wallets and hated them and finally decided to try this one. Pros: 1) Super thin and light. When empty it almost weighs nothing. If you have a leather wallet the different pockets will take up space even when empty and the leather material is much thicker than this wallet. When this wallet's empty it weighs almost nothing and the material is paper thin. 2) Allows you to carry normal items securely. I tried a few other wallets and I was appalled at how the cards and cash were "secured". One of the wallets had a clip mechanism in the middle of the folding area to hold cash and I noticed it added bulk to the wallet and there were multiple complaints of it getting loose or breaking. I love the dedicated cash pocket on this wallet and that it's the perfect size for US currency. Some of the other wallets had the card openings facing outwards which doesn't make any sense to me. If the openings loosen, the card could come out and it would fall out in to your pocket or on the ground. With this wallet, the openings are towards the middle of the wallet. This means that if the card ever slips or slides out, there's nowhere to go when the wallet is folded in half. It just makes sense to do it like this and I am shocked so many other wallets are not designed like this. Cons: The only con for me on this wallet is the construction and appearance. Honestly, how often do people ever really pay attention to your wallet? I doubt very much, but this one does appear cheap and reminds me of the first wallet I had in middle school. I'm not sure how well this will hold up over the long term, but it doesn't seem super sturdy since it's so thin. Only time will tell, I don't think this is a big deal breaker. Overall, for the criteria important to me, this wallet is a 9.5/10.

Great Durable, Truly-slim Wallet
I'm not a fan of thick wallets. I don't carry *that* many cards, but even 5 cards a few dollar bills can make they typical leather wallet feel fat and bulge inside your pockets. Previously I had a Tyvek wallet, and after that one wore out, I wanted something just as thin and may more durable. This ticked all those boxes. The color choices are superb, the simple features are well-thought-out, and it's thin like paper without sacrificing any of the durability of a traditional "rugged" wallet. I love it so far and that's why it's worth five stars. A couple of (good) notes of things I like, and maybe things I discovered after purchase: (1) The inside is cut low so that you can see the bills in the billfold pocket. This initially annoyed me, but I realized that it reminds me of what/how much money I have, and it makes it easier to thumb through without actually opening up the billfold like an old man at the grocery store. Turns out this is a great feature. (2) The inside of the billfold has two pockets, inside of which are some sheets of plastic to give the outside some sturdiness/rigidity. Again, I wasn't a fan of this at first but after it bent a little I like it more. Also, the RFID foil goes in there, and for the minimal cost upgrade, you might as well go for that option. (3) In some places there is some disagreement in how many cards this thing can hold. The documentation that came with the wallet, the amazon site, and the SlimFold site all disagree with each other. I fit about 8 standard plastic cards, some laminated-paper cards, and about 6 bills and the bills were definitely the limiting factor in folding, and it's gotten better since. It could easily fit 12 cards, and the wallet would eventually conform to the bulk. I easily fit 3-4 cards in each "pocket" on each side. A couple of things I don't like, but I am not removing stars for it: (1) The stitching on mine is *just* off center so that I notice it when I try to fold the wallet closed. It doesn't bother me and I have to really look at it to notice, but it's real. (2) I wish the height of the outside, were maybe 0.25-0.5cm taller. If I have several dollars in the billfold section they tend to poke out. I also ordered the standard-size SlimFold wallet to compare, and while it technically was thinner since the cards were spread out more rather than right-on-top-of-each-other, this was outweighed by the fact that my wallet was about the size of a passport, which I thought was find but comparing the two I prefer the smaller, slimmer, micro-version. All-in-all a great wallet, and I'll tell people about it for years to come.

UPDATED (after 2 years of use): Very durable wallet
ORIGINAL REVIEW: ================ Its slim as advertised. After transferring all my stuff from old wallet its still very slim. I wanted a traditional looking wallet but without the bulk. And this wallet does that job very well. Full points on that. But I still have a few gripes. 1) My biggest issue is the price. I don't understand how seller can justify a $48 price tag (RFID model). Alright this made of a durable fabric (name or type of fabric is not mentioned anywhere on the description) and is waterproof. None of that is a necessity for consumer. Other than being slim there is nothing else going for this wallet. There are other fabric (nylon) wallets available in market that are slimmer and much better designed. 2) Stitching on the wallet is not very professional. Its not straight in most parts. This gives an impression that the wallet was stitched at home. It looks like one of those DIY wallets. I expect better quality from a $48 wallet. 3) Jury is still out on the durability of the fabric. There is no mention of the name/type of fabric used on either description or slimfold website. There is nothing out there that substantiate their claim. Lets assume that their claims are correct and fabric, as they suggest, is super strong. But what about stitching? Is the thread used in stitches made from same material? Because if not, then this wallet is only as strong as the thread used in stitching. Most wallets including leather wallets die when thread holding the stitches wears out. I do not doubt the functionality of the wallet but there are plenty of good quality wallets out there that are 40-50% cheaper. If you want a consumer to pay a premium price then you need to provide them a premium product. UPDATED REVIEW (after 2 years of use): ================================ I have to admit, I was not expecting it to last that long. But I was wrong, this is a very durable product. Except for some minor scuff marks on the ID window plastic, there is no deterioration at all. Wallet still looks as good as new. Stitches are holding up pretty well, no signs of wear and tear so far. Even after constant use, Card and ID slots have not stretched out. This is also the slimmest traditional bi-fold wallet I have found so far. No leather wallet even comes close to this. I find it better than leather wallets as its easy to clean and looks new even after constant use for 2 years. Changing my rating to 4 stars. I would have given it 5 stars, but I still think that the pricing could be made a bit more reasonable, or otherwise the look and feel can be made more premium. I would definitely buy again.
