Grown Alchemist Smoothing Body Exfoliant, 170ml

This is probably my favorite scrub of all time. It is finely ground and the smell! I fell like I’m at a high end spa every time I use it. I’m not into perfume synthetic fragrances so this botanical blend is heavenly. I will be a repeat buyer & also gifted this to my bestie. She’s obsessed too!

Since I pictured this product being like a sugar scrub with the dry parts dropping off, I stood in the bathtub to begin. And there was no need because this comes out of the tube smooth like a body cream! HERE’S HOW IT WENT with my very dry, sensitive, sun damaged, aging skin… ~ I used this for the 1st time prior to a shower before bed. ~ After finally locating the directions buried within the teeny tiny print on the tube & the box, I massaged it in from toes to neck, squeezing out a little bit at a time. ~ Realized I need to use a little less pressure on the more delicate skin like chest & tummy. ~ I was surprised at how a little went a long way! ~ There’s a very slight, unremarkable scent. Nothing jumps out that I can identify. ~ Waited about 10 minutes as instructed, then got into the shower. ~ As I rinsed & rubbed off the exfoliant bits with my hand, I could feel very smooth, moisturized skin. ~ After lightly drying off, all of my skin still felt very conditioned. ~ I skipped my nightly lotion routine just to see how it went & WHOA - still soft & smooth the next morning! I’m definitely a fan. Currently priced @ $33/tube, it’s higher than this drugstore price gal usually goes for, BUT — I also think it’s worth the splurge! **Thank you for reading this review & I hope that it’s Helpful!** 😊

This body scrub comes in a green tube and it’s a pretty nice size. They were upon using it had a smell to it, I’m not sure how to describe it I just didn’t think it was too good. It didn’t feel too exfoliating, I feel like I couldn’t remove any dead skin from my body. It wasn’t so moisturizing after either.

The color of this exfoliating gel looks a bit strange, but overall, I found this product to be very effective and very pleasant of my skin, leaving it smooth and silky. Not surprised. Grown Alchemist rarely disappoints.

This product is pretty good. I’ve used it twice now and it’s not too abrasive. It doesn't over exfoliate or dry your legs out. It applies kind of thick with a gritty texture. It looks and feel like a very thin clay or mud mask for your legs. I have only left the product on for around 5/6 minutes. It’s hard to leave on for prolonged periods when you’re actually in the shower. It smells a little bit like peppermint but its not over baring and the scent fades very quickly. Especially when you’re leaving it on in the shower. It definitely feels moisturizing after use and does leave any strange residues or textures once its rinsed off. Over all I did feel like my leg were extra smooth when I used this product. I wish they stated wether this product should be used before or after shaving. I personally shaved and then used this product. I do like this product and will continue to use it. I would recommend it because after use I didn't see any red bump or irritation on my legs from shaving since I started using this. You do also get a good amount of product for the price.

I am not keen on most "scrubby" body washes because I find them to be either too rough or ineffective at actual exfoliation. This one is a great happy medium. It is rough enough to make my skin feel softer and prepare it for my tanning lotion (my "fake and bake" LOL), but it doesn't make my skin raw or irritate my eczema (which is what about 99% of these do if they actually exfoliate). It also has a rich, moisturizing base that lathers up nicely as a body wash once the granules are rubbed off (or dissolve, or whatever they do). It has a light, neutral scent (my husband uses and enjoys it as well), and can be used basically anywhere except my face; in fact, I just got my monthly bikini wax and my waxer noted that I had no in-growns at all this time. This is the first time I've ever given a body exfoliant 5 stars, but I'm very impressed with this one.

Got this at an excellent price, less than £9.00. Pleasantly surprised at how effective it is. Used it on my winter feet/heels and it made light work of the dry skin. Leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth. Yet to use it all over but anticipate an equally good result. Would definitely recommend.

I am absolutely satisfied. Convenient packaging, good smell, great texture. The skin after application is incredibly silky.

I use it for not only my body but gently on my face. I would have to say it’s the best one I’ve ever used and I’m 57. You only need a little bit and it lasts for months.
