If I'd read this book when I was a young man, and lived it, I'd own the world today!
I love this book. It's simple, straightforward, right to the point. More importantly, "The R of W" teaches you how to be successful at office politics, without being a jerk about it, and in fact, how to be a good, valuable, productive, successful and happy 'corporate citizen'.The rules are simple, and each is explained in 2-pages.Don't Bitch; Don't gossip; don't curse, be the best at what you do; know the corp promotion system; make friends with whomever has the 'big key-ring'; talk-act-think-dress 1-step ahead (that's 4 rules actually, each separately explained), Know how to say "No", etc.I have the list of 101 R of W on my office wall, as well as in the sleeve of my leather portfolio and I look at them daily.BUY THIS BOOK! More important READ this book and FOLLOW the rules - You won't be sorry.

Worth reading, some good tips
While the book was an easy read and made several good points, there was a lot of repetition. Good resource to refresh on every so often.

Good book
I enjoy reading this book, however it is not necessarily an easy "read-before-you-go-to-bed" type book. It truly is a list of rules that can be applied within the work place.

Great...
Great and insightful book. I have gone about the rules with indifference and thus have not arrived to where I want to be. I will use the rules with due diligence and to myself, as advised. Highly recommend book to all who are serious with moving up and working smarter.

Good Advice
Great read. Templar touched on things that I had never thought of doing! It made me take a good look at what I have been doing wrong for years. Don't skip over the items that you think you already know. There are tidbits of information in those, too!

Good reminders throughout
This is a good book to frame up a complete concept of how to conduct yourself to get ahead at work.I'd like to think that this would be a good gift for young career minded people as I believe the next generation needs a bit more guidance on the expectations in order to succeed.I'd love a cheat sheet to quickly review the core concepts, but one is not available.
