My boyfriend has the note phone which is incredibly large and heavy and the rectangular magnet included holds it like a champ. I was not prepared for the strength of the magnets that come with it. The hold is incredible. The magnetic holder that attaches to your car would not however, hold to my circular charger magnet that came on my case. Time will tell if the glue holds to the dash and the phone but the adhesion seems pretty solid. Planning to buy another. The only problem I have found is with the magnet that attaches to your phone. If you have a magnetic charger the magnet that is included that attaches to your phone will block the phone charge. It does however, also come with a magnet that doesn't have the sticky back. It's supposed to sit loose in your phone cover. I have not tried it out but maybe would work if your phone is large enough as the magnet is rather large. I ended up putting the smaller sticky back circular magnet included, at the top corner of my galaxy s23 and it holds the phone no problem since the strength between both magnets is so strong.

I bought this to have my phone on the side of the apartment fridge that I have by my bed, and it works great. It has FAR more power than the magnetic mount that I have in my car and I love that...I'm constantly knocking my phone off the one in the car by adjusting the AC/Heat but this one keeps a STRONG hold on my phone. Going to see if I can find a Wix car mount now, to replace the weak mount that I have.

I have tried several phone holders, mostly those that go in the air vents. None have worked. I even tried one that was supposed to stick to my dash, with a magnet to put on my phone. My phone fell off before being on it a minute. I figured this would be the same, but I have been pleasantly surprised! I was even able to just put the magnet thing inside my phone case (not sticking it to case or phone), and it sticks to the magnet like glue! Well, not that hard, but it does take a little force to get it off, which I like. My phone isn't falling off or sliding around. HIGHLY recommend if this is the type of phone mount you are looking for. The only down side for me, and this is more the fault with my car, was placement. The mount was too big to put it where I wanted, so I have to lean a little to see my phone. But I can handle that. Like I said, that's more a fault with the design of my car than this product. So glad I found this!!!

I'm not using this in the most traditional sense, like in my car. So I can't really comment to the quality going over bumps, adhesion to dash and what not but, for my purposes, it's been just fine! I got these so I could secure my phone on a wall in my house to take progress pictures while trying to get in shape. This allows me to put the camera in the same location every time without using a tripod or anything. the 3M adhesive is very strong and sturdy and so is the magnet. I am not worried about this thing falling off at all. The only con that these have is not a big one. You have to secure the metal plate to your phone in order for it to be magnetic. I have a case that I just set it in. Be careful of the location you place the little metal plate if your phone is capable of wireless charging and you use it. The metal plate blocks the ability to wirelessly charge. I have a large phone (Pixel 3 XL) and was able to move the plate to the bottom of my phone and it wirelessly charges again. That might not be possible with smaller phones but I can't say for sure.

I had no adhesion problems. I mounted this to a ProClip, I cleaned the clip with Simple Green and then rubbing alcohol. Applied the mount and, for good measure, put in a clamp for a few hours. So far, it's stuck like Chuck! The mount itself isn't as strong as the Scosche but has held my Samsung A53 without any issues. Then again, the magnets on the Scosche are REALLY strong. Time will tell, if it turns out to be junk then lesson learned and I know what to buy.

I love these mounts. I'd previously taken apart one of the round versions, removed the vent clip and used a small screw to attach it to a spot on my truck's dash. This did pretty well, but dropped my phone a few times while off-roading. I figured I'd look for stronger options. Here's what I found. a. The round version has 4 magnets inside. b. The rectangle version has 6 magnets inside. c. Both can be easily opened. --The round one has rubber that can be peeled off with fingers. --The rectangle one has rubber that can be popped out with a pointy object. d. Both have a hole in the center that perfectly fits a small screw. e. Six magnets seems stronger than four. Off-Road Mounting: The rectangle mount's hole doesn't go fully through. I used that as a pilot hole and drilled through the remaining. After that I pushed through the screw. I already had a pilot hole drilled into my dash for the previous round mount, so I reused that spot. I put both pieces of double stick tape onto the back of the mount to shim it out to fit a perfect spot on my 2003 Tacoma. After that it was just screwing it down and working/massaging the rubber cover back into place with a flat screwdriver or pry tool. That last step was the trickiest. Remember, the magnets can move a little as needed during the refit process. Now it's time to hit the dirt and to see if she holds. Round mount being compared. The actual product is absolutely amazing I don't even know if it could possibly get any better, I highly recommend it in more capacities than one for sure. however the delivery portion of it left much to be desired I ended up having to buy the exact order twice because Amazon didn't know when they'd be able to deliver I tried canceling and I got a double order
