Easy to install and easy to use
I bought the Quick Release Roof Mount so that I could mount a King Tailgater on the roof of my motorhome. I found it easy to install, though I did mount it backwards as the prewiring in my motorhome were too short to mount facing the front. I cover the hole cut to find the prewiring with the King cover (separate purchase). I mounted the Quick Release with 3/4" stainless steel screws. I then covered the screws and any potential leak area with sealant. The installation took just over half an hour once I decided what materials to use. The Quick Mount itself is easy to use. I can remove the Tailgater in about a minute from my rooftop if I need it for other activities or don't have a clear satellite view when camping. I have about 3,000 miles on the motorhome since I installed it. Other than a few bugs on the latching mechanism facing forward, no problems.

A little flimsy feeling.
Overall this is a nice mount. I will say it "feels" a little flimsy. I was concerned it would break while carrying it up to the roof of my RV. Once installed it works fine..

Easy to mount on roof and secure.
This mounting kit worked perfect. I recommend watching the YouTube videos on how to install it properly so you'll never have any leaks. I installed it and took the RV on a 1,100 mile trip to Perry Georgia and had no issues at all.

A must have.
I have a factory installed dish on the roof. So we don’t always get a clear view of the southern sky. This makes it so much easier to move the dish around when needed. I wish the factory would have installed this in the first place. It holds the dish very securely while on the roof. The quality is excellent and should last for many years.

Easy Instructions
This unit is easy to put together and install. Fasteners, sealant and time is all that is required to install this antenna mount lock down unit. It is for portable antenna's, however, you can lock down the antenna in this mount and leave it while travelling if you wish. Personally, I recommend that the antenna be removed and stored inside the RV for travel.

Great idea - works well.
Works great. Very easy to remove/replace the antenna when desired. Installation was very easy - it was harder to figure out where to route the cable than it was to install this bracket. Follow the directions and use lots of RV caulk on your roof to prevent leaks.
