Bought this just to have as an accessory. Used it to stand on when paining the ceiling in my daughter's house and it worked out well - much better than standing on the ladder rung.

The step ladder is connected to my ladder and will have to try it out when I load boxes in my garage to overhead storage which is what this will be for. I only took a Star away because I had not used it with the boxes and saw how stable it is though looks good. The angle was a little off not parallel with the floor. The delivery person delivered to the wrong house a block away and we would not have known unless that neighbor a block away dropped it off at our house which is a separate delivery gripe.

The item arrived as expected and appeared as pictured in the listing. The materials seemed a bit on the light side for the 400 lb. weight rating. We found that as long as the ladder was tilted at an angle as identified in the directions it worked as described. However, on our second use with a 230 lb operator the deck material bent such that we were concerned that it might fail. It turns out that the ladder angle was less severe than the required angle. That resulted in the platform attachment section which connected it to the ladder not not remaining flat on the ladder step. The flat connector area bent up at about a 20 degree angle. We straightened it as best we could and intend to reinforce the unit for future use since 230 lb. Is the lightest the potential users we have.

Great price and does the job. Would be better if the support braces at the bottom that rest against the lower step were a bit larger/longer. Peace of mind that it is not going to slip off. What it comes with works, just my preference. I use strong plastic zip tie downs so I know it is not going to slip off or out of place from the lower ladder rung.

Me aguanto bien, ya que peso 115 kilogramos, es resistente y no se dobla, aunque para bajar de ahí hay que tener cuidado porque no hay mucho espacio para apoyar tu pie en ese escalón, tienes que sujetarte bien y luego apoyar tu pie en un escalón más abajo de donde pusiste este soporte.
