My tv remotes buttons were sticking and fire tv stick remote doesn't work so this remote works for both. Great price .would recommend

It looked perfect and compact, and am sure is very good for compatible devices, but it's NOT completely Universal. You have to first look up the brand name on the list given on the instructions, and there I fell at the first post. BUSH was not listed. This was puzzling as it's a very well-known brand. Have given it to a friend.

Easy to set up

Given the price it works perfectly with my blueray Toshiba player! Easy to set up too..

So, the good news is that the LG TV worked on the first code I tried, all common functions seem to there. The Panasonic Bluray player also worked on one of the suggested codes and again common functions seem to be there. My NAD 3020 amp allows the volume to be changed but no other functions (ie no change input, no switch on/off) I did try auto setup but gave up after I don't know how mant button pushes! So I need to NAD remote to turn on and off... None of the suggested codes worked with my Pansonic PVR but I did manage to set it up with the auto feature. Most common functions work - but I have not found a button to access to EPG which means I need the other remote to programme a recording, also no delete to removed watched recordings. Using the auto setup feature is painful - it scans codes 10 at a time to switch the device off and then you have to step through individual settings - I had issues with the setup process exiting (timeout?) before I could restart the device to complete the setup so it took 4 or 5 tries. To be fair - all the devices except the TV are quite old - you might have better experience with newer equipment? The device would be a lot better if it had a 'learn' feature (i.e. where you can push a button on the original remote and an equivalent button on the universal remote - this would be faster and better than the auto setup function. Seller was reasonably helpful suggesting codes to use - mostly a 24hr turnaround but that might be timezones or just Amazon messaging system. So three stars is based on my experience one start each for painful setup and missing PVR functions which mean we'll probably still need two remotes as the PVR is in constant use.

The remote worked really well for my device. It took some time to set up as you have to get through the codes to get the right one (same with any universal remote) It's good vlaue for money and a good quality item.

This universal remote doesn’t work on the television I have.

This device if incorrectly advertised to trick people as I was in to buying it. It clearly states in the item description that this device works with all which I took to mean every single make and model of the items listed one of which is soundbar s so I made the purchase only to find when I opened the programming guide my make and model is not listed therefore it does not do as described and work with all the categories it lists in the item description. I will not recommend this item to anyone not will I buy another to replace it from this seller who clearly will say what ever you want to hear to get your money.
