Perfect record player
Did some research to ensure I didn’t need an extra amp or anything else. Bought some compatible Bluetooth speakers - perfect!

Unfortunately returning
The media could not be loaded. I unpacked the E1BT and the first thing I noticed was the stylus was different than what was advertised on Amazon, pictured is the Ortofon OM5E and what was on the turntable was Audio Technica ANT3600LC, speaking to Project they newer E1s now come with the AT and older stock will have OM5E if you can find them, which I wasn’t that fussed about, its just a bit misleading,Out the box it looks great and very easy to set up, 5 mins and I was playing vinyl, and it sounds good too. The 2nd thing that was annoying is the weight of the turntable, its very light and when you lift the lid or operate the switches the whole turntable moves, again, annoying but I was looking at getting rubber isolation feet to stop it sliding about. All was good until I tried to pair my headphones to the Bluetooth, it took a while to connect but when it did there wasn’t any sound just an awful crackling sound (I’ll try and ad a short video) I tried many different headphones and BT devices, and it was the same issue either it wouldn’t connect or this crackling sound. I’ve read about poor BT connectivity with the E1 but thought I would give it ago. My friend who is a bit of a tech guru tried to set up his headphone, but he had the same outcome. The different stylus and the weight issues I could live with but when the BT wouldn’t work I had basically got an expensive Pro Ject E1 phono so I will be returning.ProsLooksSoundEasy set upConsStylus not as picturedVery lightBluetooth issue

Great Record Player but Poor Bluetooth Connectivity
I really wanted to like this record player as it gets such good reviews. Unfortunately the main connection I needed was Bluetooth and in that area it failed specifically. I tried to pair with three Bluetooth enabled speakers of various brands.without any joy. Eventually it did connect to a pair of Bluetooth headphones but sadly had to return it.Must say that the sound through my headphones (Apple AirPod Max’s) was really nice but as the wife won’t allow cables I’m going to have to shop around for another option.5* Quality5* Appearance1* Connectivity
