When my previous one stopped working I was happy to have found the perfect replacement. Thought I needed a new wall heater but just needed a new thermostat!

Does exactly what it should do! And does it reliably! I have an older model space heater that pushes heat better than any of the newer ones I have tried to replace it with. The problem is, the thermostat no longer works so it's either all on, or all off. This lets me use it as intended when I need it.

Has no temp differential. I bought a couple of these and have them hooked up to small heaters with fans. They literally turn on for about 2 seconds before shutting off for two seconds, before repeating. The fan on the heaters doesn't even get up to speed before they shut off again. I tried putting a bag over it to slow the temp change on the thermostat, but it doesn't matter. I've also used an extension cord so that I can locate the thermostat well away from the heaters, behind something else, and it doesn't matter. These are just going to burn out the fan motors, or pop a breaker and end up with everything freezing. UPDATE: DO NOT PURCHASE THIS. After seeing the short cycling I ordered some different ones, but had to use these until the new ones arrived. One of them melted from the short cycling and stopped turning the heater off. Room was 90 degrees when I set it at 40. Burnt the house outlet black. Started to fall out of the outlet leaving it half exposed in as well as the cord for the heater coming out of this. Probably getting close to arcing. I bought 3 of these, and all of them short cycle continuously. It is not a single defective unit. It's just a matter of time before they all melt and cause a fire directly, or run the heater until it burns the house down. Not even priced that cheaply to be "you get what you pay for". Since I bought these ahead of the coming winter, to have heaters set up for my pipes to not freeze, they are now outside of the return window and Amazon says they will not make any exception for a return outside the window, even if it burns your house down a week after you first start actually using it.

Nice product, plug and play. Well priced and no apparent issues. Seems durable and will be using is for a well house to run a heater during the winter months.

flickers on and off before it reaches a point to stay on when the temp gets to below the setting and doesn't the same thing once the room reaches temp flickers on and off until it remain off until the temp drops and it flickers again... temp setting seem off and some what wild hard to adjust. I wish I picked a different one to order.
