This medal is heavy, gaudy, and both looks and feels cheap--but not as cheap as a plastic one would, however. It has worked well over the past couple of years as the third place prize for our annual Christmas stocking contest. No one likes it enough to want to keep it, so we don't have to find a new prize for 3rd place.
