I have wanted a portable turntable for sometime that I could use to transfer my stack of vinyl records to digital format but always decided to wait until something more user friendly came along. Well I just found a Feir belt drive stereo turntable suitcase and received it today and I couldn’t wait to get it out of the box and try it out. To begin with it was packed so well, there wasn’t a scratch on it and the box had a little travel wear on it. I set it up in about two minutes without instructions as you just connect the usb cable to either your computer or ac adapter. I have a lot of vinyl 45’s so I started with them. It has a protective white plastic cover that slides easily on and off the stylus needle along with a hook that holds the arm holding the stylus as extra protection. In addition there is a switch that lifts and lowers the stylus arm to prevent scratching of the vinyl surface. I was very pleased with a special place for the adapter inside the case for 45’s so you never misplace it. It plays 45, 33 and 78 vinyl records and has a selector switch for all of these and a choice on/off switch to autostop when the record is through playing. The minimum/maximum dial lights up a red power light when turned on and just below that is the aux in connection for input for smartphones or your home stereo. Most everything is labeled in white lettering and the rest is embossed in plastic. The case itself is made of sturdy wood covered in leather with a tiny hammered design and a strong metal clasp with metal protection on every corner, the bottom ones with short black strong legs. The speakers are on either side of the easy carry handle it measures 14x49x10.5 inches and the total weight is 7.05 pounds. The metal hinges on the back are on either side of red and red/white rca jacks, an earphone out jack and a square input jack for power and connecting to the computer. It has downloadable software for Mac OS X. Then I realized it came with a cd for software (it was inside the instruction booklet). It loaded easily on my Windows 10 computer and the manual was easy to follow to install the software and use. You can do so many things with the audacity software including recording from vinyl to your computer, editing, name the track, export as wav or mp3, import midi, amplify or bass boost, raw data, with the ease of cut/copy/paste, change pitch, speed and tempo, compressor, echo, fade out and even print out the main window view showing the tracks and wave forms and too many more selections to mention. You can’t go wrong with this turntable, it is both stylish and affordable, a prime purchase and backed by Amazon’s return policies and came with a $5.00 instant coupon plus a 12 month warranty and available customer service if needed. At checkout there is an optional choice of a 4 year protection plan for $8.32

Playing 45s
We ordered this Feir record player mainly so we could play 45s for our young grandchildren. At first it didn't play 45s all the way to the end of the record, but the 33s were fine. Then we learned that setting the Autostop switch to off enables the 45s to play to the end for some reason. We think its a great little record player, nice looking with decent sound. We have had it for a month and have also been enjoying our 33s that we haven't heard for years. Customer service was very good at helping us resolve the initial problem.

Hopping it sounds as good as it looks
The sound is amazing so satisfying with this. Takes me back the old school vinyls as are back.

Exactly what you'd want/need in a portable record player!
This portable record player is fantastic and is exactly what you'd need in a portable record player. I've had it now for a couple of weeks, and it's super easy to carry around and transport. The durability has kept up wonderfully. Of course, the bass isn't strong like you'd have from a regular turntable on a sound system, but it's not expected. Any more bass coming from the unit itself would result in unwanted needle skips, especially if you want the volume super loud. But the great thing is, you can hook it up to your computer or to some external speakers, and that problem is fixed! The look and quality of the whole unit is really impressive, especially for the price. The price is always the worry with these things, wary that you'll save on money, but sacrifice quality. That's not the case here. The quality is truly impressive. The ease of use and plug-n-play functionality of this record player is great too. I can easily cart this to a friend's house, bringing along a couple of vinyls I want them to check out, which I'd never been able to do before. Even though vinyls have had a resurgence, I still have plenty of friends without a record player, and I can't very well cart my regular player over to their place, or always have them driving across town to my house. Overall, I'm really happy with the portable record player, and having chosen white as my record player color (I believe there are 3 other colors to choose from), I'm also really happy with that. It looks sleek and clean. Oh, and not to mention, since you can hook this up to your computer, you can take those dollar bin vinyls of old and obscure Japanese funk from the 70s, and digitize them to have on your PC too. Seriously, I plan on buying a bunch of vinyl imports to digitize and have on my computer now. :)

Very cool
I have always wanted a record player and I know they can be pricy. This is a good price point and i love that it is portable. It can play different size records so that’s cool. You can plug in your phone with an AUX cord so that’s also a cool feature. The speaker quality isn’t great. It sounds kind of weird but I’ve never had a record player so I’m not sure if that’s how they all sound. Something great about this record player is that you can make your own records. I don’t know where to buy a blank record but this record player comes with a computer program and directions on how to make mp3 to record.

It's great, but a little gritty on rock.
I love this vinyl player. The color is slightly different than what is shown, it's actually prettier in my opinion. It played the Stray video game soundtrack pretty well, but for rock it's a bit gritty and not the cleanest. But, I don't really have any complaints. I played Sweet Sacrifice by Evanescence for example. I was also worried it wasn't gonna be very loud, but it's actually perfectly loud enough. I was pleasantly surprised. I'm also very glad that the cord is usb plug instead of a wall plug. This way I can plug it up anywhere at anytime. The cord is very short though, so you'll most likely need an extension cord. Overall, I love it.

This is a portable record player with two small speakers attached to the front.
This record player is very convenient to carry around and take to places for listening on the go. The two small speakers in the front can get very loud by themselves, which is convenient if taking it with you to a park or bigger room without speakers. There is not a full sound to the speakers, but having speakers in a portable record player that plays a lot of bass can mess up the playing of the record. If you want a fuller sound, then there are RCA or headphone jacks where you can plug it into external speakers to get more bass. It also has an automatic stop that you can turn on or off but the tone arm does not go back to the resting place, which is nice because those features seem to mess up after a while in my experience. It's durable and is perfect for my kids to listen to, which is my main purpose for this record player. They love their records, but I don't want them to mess with my expensive record player, so this allows them to have their own that they can listen to. This record player is definitely not for the audiophile, but it will sound pretty good for a portable player and does well with the Sesame Street and old Disney records (and of course the Beatles 45's) that the kids like to listen to.
