Lewis Hamilton (97) (Little People, BIG DREAMS) : Sanchez Vegara, Maria Isabel, Martín, Fernando: desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: A true champion and a worthy ambassador. - Another wonderful mini biography in this terrific series, Little People, Big Dreams. Lewis Hamilton was certain small, a very young boy when his love for motor racing begin with his Dad’s encouragement. From radio-controlled cars to Go-Karts his destiny as a future champion in formula one was rarely in doubt. This wasn’t without great personal sacrifice from family, financially supporting him and dedication to match his talent from Lewis. Often against a background of exclusion and bullying due to his colour and outright racism. That he overcame this with skill and dignity should be celebrated alongside his championships and knighthood. That he continues to challenge injustice and discrimination are also worthy values our children can identify with, making Lewis a perfect role model. As the first black driver to win the Formula One World Championship he duly holds a special place in sporting terms but especially within Black History Month he should be remembered and acclaimed for his ongoing achievements. A lovely book; in clear text and brilliant colourful illustrations. One to read and savour. Review: Brilliant book - Was a gift for a 6 year old boy, he loves it. It’s a great story

Nice Lewis Hamilton book for kids
Nice book for the children to learn all about Lewis Hamilton. I read it as an adult and there were facts in there that I didn’t know myself. Good little insight into the racing driving sport.
