I'm very happy with this Volvo system analyzer. The instructions manual is lacking info, but I was able to figure it out within a few minutes.After running a full system scan, use arrows to move up or down to select test, click ok then get results of specific test. You then can see results and clear the error.I had SAS error, after buying a used clockspring/steer angle sensor, I needed to clear the codes. It worked great!Device seems well built too.I'm very happy with the analyzer.

You need a computer running windows 8 to update this, does not even read the codes on a obdII let alone for Volvo. Any Volvo. I tried on a 03 xc90 2018 xc70 and 2012 s60 all useless. Don’t waste your time

If you own a Volvo, this is one of the best scan readers to have! The description legitimately pretty much tells it all!Fast boot up time, turns right on as soon as you plug it in. I'm still learning how to use this but it has been serving it's purpose so far. Read my CEL, informed me of the issue and clears the code. Although, clearing the code doesn't remedy the problem, it just turns off the annoying illuminated CEL. Recognizes my 2001 Volvo S40 flawlessly and works for other vehicles too! It's not just for Volvos! It has features specifically for the Volvo but it can read codes from other vehicles too!This is perfect for mobile mechanics! I highly recommend it! It's the perfect companion for your car!

I don't own a Volvo, but my nephew owns a small Volvo repair shop. He has officially sanctioned Volvo diagnostic tools. But it's not very portable and lives in one bay. I gave him this tool, and he loves. It's portable. It covers pretty much all of the basic use cases. It means he can triage without having to move cars into his analysis bay. He acknowledges this isn't the same level of support as his expensive Volvo tools, but this tool covers all of the basic usages he needs. If he is finding this to be valuable - I'd think pretty much anyone with a Volvo should seriously consider this as an addition to their toolbox. Especially since the price for this is quite reasonable.
