Out of many shower mats purchased this ones king. It stays were you put it. Water goes through it well grippy and doesn't hurt my sensitive feet.I hang mine up after each use fairly easy to clean .

We use this mat for our RV shower which is a slippery slightly textured surface. The mat grips very well with no slippage, water/ soap suds drain straight through, and it’s easy to clean immediately afterward by flipping over, spraying and then rolling up to stand in the corner to dry. Rinsing off the shower floor after shower removed any soap residue which might potentially cause the mat to slip, but we’ve had no issues. The textured surface of the mat is excellent for scrubbing feet clean as well! This may be the BEST purchase we’ve ever made on Amazon! THANKS SUTERA!! UPDATE: although not suggested nor recommended by SUTERA to my knowledge, we’ve been laundering on delicate/ warm setting in our machine with sanitizer added occasionally -great way to keep the mat fresh and we’ve seen no issues with the mat! HANG TO DRY!! NO DRYER heat!!

Have an old 50's house. Wife has this special soap scum remover mix of 50% cheap vodka and 50% cheap dish soap. Works great but makes the tub very slippery-clean. On top of that, we had the tub resurfaced. Last thing the technician said when finishing the resurfacing was 'oh, don't use a bath mat or it could damaged the surface. Great! I rated the suction a 5 because this mat does not harm the surface but does not slip a bit! I never leave the mat on the tub but always hang it on a towel rack after using it. It's been great! And being washable keeps it in 'new' condition all the time. I highly recommend this product to stop slipping in the tub, but if you had your tub resurfaced, this is a must have!

They are extremely helpful in the shower, no slipping or sliding. The only problem is that you can't keep them in the tub for baths; they float. We had already had one, and it finally started shedding in the shower, so we ordered two more, one for our shower and a new one for our guest bath. I recommend these to anyone; they're great for safety!

I had another mat similar to this that taught me that a mat like this must be washed often, once a week, minimum. I throw it in the washer with the towels. If you do not wash frequently, soap scum, shampoo, and other shower products build up and they will never completely wash out. The manufacturing of these mats seem to leave little pieces of the bottom caught within the mat. Several come out with each wash. That I do not like. I pick them off the towels, and out of the washer. I still get several in the lint trap of the dryer that I did not find as I checked the towels. I bought a second one because I do like the feel of it on my feet and it does not slip if kept clean. If you are not wanting to fuss with it, this is not the mat for you.

After using a suction mat that wrinkled and mildewed, I decided to try this. I love the feel on my feet - secure and just abrasive enough to feel like my feet are gripping. So far it has stayed in place, but the mfr cautioned against using this in a tub of water because it will float. I noticed when showering if my drain is slow and water pools in the floor of the tub, it is not quite as secure although I have not had an issue with it slipping. Overall I really like it, recommended.

I have some problems with my feet and a friend told me about this mat. I feel so much safer in the shower with it compared to any stick-on strips that I've tried. It is soft to stand on and water drains through it. I hang it at the end of the shower so that it drains and dries. I have washed it in the washer on gentle cycle. I've recommended it to many others. I will buy it again if this one ever wears out.

This is the perfect solution to feeling secure on your feet in the shower. Comfortably massaging on the feet. Nice grip so you feel safe in the shower. Easy to clean and they are very well made.
