Impressive Trail Running pack
I am really impressed by the vest quality, comfort and function. I typically use a Camelback pack that can be zippered and cinched up pretty tight, but training for a Spartan race and thought this would be more suitable. Pros: - COMFORT - Price - Deep cell phone pocket. Even if upzipped, I doubt the phone would fall out - Cinch pocket in back is pretty deep, easily held a hat and headlamp - Deep chest pockets, easily holds water bottle, doesn’t have to be a flask - Bite valve doesn’t leak - Easy on the run adjustments Areas of improvement: - Zippered main compartment in back to better secure items - Plastic clip instead of Velcro to close the bladder pocket - Waterproof cell phone pocket (for running in the rain) - Optional waist belt??? I thought I would want one, but really did feel the need for one - Hose clip to keep it from bouncing around A couple of tweaks I did for personal preference: -Trimmed hose so the bit valve rests in the front chest pocket. The hose comes pretty long which is nice if you like that, but there’s no clip to hold the hose, so I put it in the pocket - Cut the bite valve large for faster water flow - Attach carbiner to bottom of back pad to attach dog leashes

Keep the pack. Ditch the bladder.
This is the perfect pack for any runner. I've been using this for my distance runs (currently used it for two 20-milers). It is extremely lightweight and fits perfectly on the shoulders (no bouncing while running). There are two pockets in the front; plenty of room to store a phone with an external battery pack in one pocket (for sizing explanation, you could probably fit 4 phones in one pocket, with room to spare). The cinch straps help to keep everything in, and the additional zipper pouches are great for storing gels, keys, etc. The only issue that I had with the package is that bladder that comes with this was not designed for runners. It has a weird sliding clip at the top which is supposed to secure the bladder (basically, you fold the bladder bag over and slide the clip over top of that, basically pinching the bag to try to prevent leaking). My guess is that this is why many people have had issues with leaking. My suggestion is to order this with the water-bottle option, and then purchase a separate bladder (I used a 1.5L Aquatic Way Hydration Bladder, but I think most screw-cap bladders would work). All in all, fantastic product.

Nice Vest
Very nice product so far. Would make some minor changes in design. The zippered pocket behind the left water bottle sleeve becomes hard to access if you cinch down the left water bottle pocket. I would make the left or both slightly gusseted to allow the pockets behind them to be more easily accessed during physical activity. Also, the loops for the water bottle drinking tubes need to be about 1/4 inch longer to more easily accommodate the large bite-style mouth pieces. It should be noted that if you use these water bottle drinking tube loops, you don't have to cinch the water bottles down as tightly but you will lose the ability to move the tube and have to dip your head to get a drink. All-in-all a very nice vest. I also use mine on my bicycle, as the rear compartment also makes a nice storage space for tools and gear. It is also lightweight enough and constructed in a way that I have had no chaffing issues (so far, but longest run with vest only 8 miles).

More than satisfied! GREAT buy! GREAT product!
This is an exceptional item! We purchased this for the intent of using it on our hiking trips. Upon opening the box, I am thrilled to see that all of the items are exactly as listed. In days past, we have used varying hydration solutions for our hiking trips. While carrying a water bottle is a viable option, this vest has made things extremely convenient for us on our day hikes. The vest hugs the body quite nicely (using the adjustable straps), and the padding is both comfortable and breathable. The “one-size-fits-all” is good enough for my 11-year-old and me (over 200lbs.). I’ve always been partial to what I’ve called the “bite valve” (not sure this is the actual name) that this product features. It gives the seamless ration while continuing through the journey. The reflective tabs would add an advantage to the night runner, though it has not affected us as day hikers. I’m enjoying for the 4 major pockets. While you can’t hold a significant amount of gear in these pockets, it will hold the necessities (at least for me). While the listing suggests that this item is for marathon runners, I see several uses beyond the listing. Overall, this product meets my needs for day hiking, and I am more than satisfied with my purchase.

No snug fit and water tastes bitter in the bottles
Pros: Cheap, good design and choice of colors, more than sufficient number of pockets to hold phone, energy gels, keys and even some ultra light rain jackets. Cons: The backpack is not breathable, and for a long distance run, the back gets pretty hot fast. The 2 chest straps are not stretchable enough, and hence if it cannot be tighten anymore, the fitting is loose around the lower strap. For the side straps, if they are tightened, the ends are left hanging and gets in the way of the moving arms. Finally, as others have pointed out, the taste of the water from the 2 bottles are a bit bitter when sipped through the tubes. I had even kept the bottles and the tubes soaked in a bowl of water for a night hoping the bitterness would get washed away, No, the bitterness stays. I may have to buy a 2L water bag from brands like CamelBak, and see how it goes.

I purchased the 8L model. Fit and finish appears good and I am very happy with it, it doesn't move and is barely noticeable when wearing it. I am a 200 lb man and couldn't be happier with the pack. I upgraded the soft flasks to the 500 ml ones, and as you can see they don't quite fit in the pouches, but after over 50 kms of running I can say they didn't fall out, but seeing them flop around a bit as they empty might bother some. I use the elastic straps to stop the flopping, but it is not required. For those who plan on using a hydration bladder, know that a 2L one won't fit.

So convenient

I was buying them to replace my old water bottles. These bottles are made of material that is not stinky and has no hard-to-clean places. They are bigger than my old bottles.

super Rucksack, Ich benutze ihn zum Nordic walking mit einer 2 Liter Trinkblase von Deuter. Ich habe vorher immer eine Gürteltasche mit Sportflaschen benutzt, aber das System ist sehr viel besser
