No Lure Left Behind
When it can reach. It works absolutely perfect! Collapsing to a great size to bring along. Attaches easily to my tackle backpack. Has aready paid for itself 10x! No Lure Left Behind!>>>>>>Update 4/2/2024<<<<<<FailedTip hook fell off revealing it has a threaded end. Also revealed it had nothing to screw into. Was going to glue it back on. But it fell apart at two sections when the tin tore and sections pulled out.

Light weight
Works ok for what I wanted it for. The hook broke and come undone. Couldn't repair it good enough for what I needed it for. Come in handy for other light weight projects. Love the idea that can compact to bring and store in small places.

Fantastic with only 1 small annoyance
First off I work in the cable industry and this tool is fantastic. The handle and extension rods are very sturdy and folds away extremely compact I can carry it comfortably in my pocket. The ONLY grievance I have is that the internal threading that you connect the hooks too is a small cap piece that is only held on by thin layer of adhesive. Being left in the truck the heat actually melted the adhesive again and the threads fell off! I just put it back together with a a stronger bond and now this thing is solid. Just be careful you don't seal it over the internal threads! Knocked a star off on sturdiness for that reason otherwise this thing was well worth the purchase.

Cannot hold lightweight items when even halfway extended
I was hanging small pots on macrame cords about 9 feet up, each one a little over a pound or so. It felt super wobbly, and the rod kept trying to slip back out of the extension length (would be nice if you could twist it to tighten this). On the second pot, I saw the rod start to bend like a fishing pole, then it snapped. Super disappointed, and I hope the seller reaches out.

Faulty
The extension was great. Had high hopes. It worked great for 2 days then the tip came off wasn’t able to use anymore

For as long as it gets it’s strong , very little give
I like the length

Spins too easy & flimsy making high up use difficult
Initially this seemed like a good tool, but upon use to help hang things high up I can say I would not recommend this if you need vertical high up assistance. The longer it gets it starts to bow and flex. There is no locking mechanism either so as you try to hang things the hook starts to rotate and spin with the slightest bit of pressure. It's really only useful for reaching maybe a few feet. It becomes very impractical quickly the longer you make it and regardless of which hook is used.

Perfect for Christmas Lights
This saved the look of my Christmas lights on the roof. I got the icicles that hang down and kept being blown up on to the roof. I was able to unwrap some of them and help them hang properly using this telescoping hook. I see many uses for this throughout the year. Good and sturdy.
