Great quality and very effective was advised by a Dr and worked so well great value for money.

I have used this for a many years. I take 1 tablet a day as maintenance. I'm not 100% sure if it helped with my actual shedding, nor if it helped with the density. However, my hair grows 6" in 4-6 months. So it'll grow long quickly but it's not as full as I'd like.The price fluctuations on this is crazy, I usually get it around the 60 mark. But you can often see it for almost double that.

Ordered on behalf of my sister, who has been using these for years and swears by them, even at the full retail price, as they definitely work. Normally, purchase from Holland and Barrett, but the greatly reduced price on Amazon at the time of purchase for this three month supply box smashed the price of H&B, so ordering from Amazon was a no brainer. The use by date is a good twelve months away, which is also better than H&B as their use by dates on this particular product are always poor.

I’ve been using Viviscal for a while now, and I also got my mum to try it. I was going through a really tough time with a lot of stress, and my hair was falling out like crazy. Since starting Viviscal, I’ve noticed that the hair loss hasn’t stopped completely, but it has definitely reduced compared to before, which is a relief.I was taking one tablet after breakfast and another after dinner. However, I’ve been dealing with insomnia, only getting about four hours of sleep a night. I’m pretty sure the supplement is causing this because my sleep habits are usually good, and I’m not taking anything else that could affect my sleep. This is the only new thing I’ve added to my routine. Because of this, I’m thinking of stopping the evening dose and just taking it after breakfast to see if that helps.As for my mum, she started getting these strange headaches that lasted for three days straight. Nothing seemed to help, so I asked her to stop taking Viviscal after I found out that other customers had mentioned headaches as a side effect. We both suspect Viviscal might be the cause of her headaches and my sleep issues.Overall, while it seems to help reduce hair loss, the side effects weren’t worth it for us. If you’re considering trying it, just be mindful of potential side effects.

Great has certainly made a difference to my hair, even my hairdresser commented on how much thicker my hair seemed , I hadn’t said I was taking this supplement.

This works. I am selling a house and moving overseas, had to rehome my beautiful dogs, had a bereavement and subsequently yielded to shingles July 2024 due to the emotional stress. This all resulted in a lot of hair shedding in the autumn months, mainly from my sides and the top of my hair above my forehead. I’ve been taking these, only one at night due to the cost, and I now have lots of 1-2 inch long hairs sprouting out of these areas. And I’ve seen a huge reduction in the hair shedding - thank goodness. I’ve dabbled with rosemary oil on the scalp (which did nothing) and I regularly take collagen supplements which I swear has improved my skin barrier but other than that this is all I’ve changed, along with using Alpecin shampoo starting last month. I noticed a huge reduction in hair loss when I started using Alpecin but I credit viviscal for encouraging new hair growth. I also use Fixxie hair fibres for when I want to look nice and not worry about my scalp showing. I find medium brown to be a good shade. Hang in there!
