This hamper acts as it should. So many things just don’t do their job, easy as their job may be, but this hamper does. Is this hamper next in line to be CEO? Not by a long shot, but will this hamper show up on time to work every day? Yes. Sick days? This hamper never takes them. This hamper doesn’t quit. It’s not looking for excuses to underperform. It’s here to work and work it does. This hamper will be there, at it’s desk, pushing papers until there are no more papers to push. This hamper didn’t lie on its resume. What you see is what you get. This hamper is loyal and knows it’s place. It doesn’t ask for special treatment because it’s too busy getting the job done. I can rely on this hamper and I’d bet that you can, too.

This cheap hamper might be okay for temporary use. "Dorm use" is a stretch and I definitely don't recommend it for a kids' room. The one we bought has been in use for exactly one year. You can see from the pictures that it is now falling apart. The fabric mesh has several small rips and is coming away from the seem in places. Two of the thin metal bands that hold the structure of this hamper have come loose. One of them is a loop and the other has a sharp terminal!The one that is a loop used to be very small. It stuck out just a little. Because the band is so thin in profile, it was invisible against the dark blue hamper full of dark clothes. It caught my toe as I walked by and ouch! It sawed between my toes as it pulled out from the fabric. I spilled my morning coffee all over the bathroom.We probably should have replaced this hamper months ago but I was being stubborn. Don't be like me. Spend a little more and buy a real hamper. If you need to get one of these for temporary use, throw it away when it starts to break up. A kid or pet could probably get hurt on this thing.

Best price and design I've found.... and I've looked hard.PROS:1. WIDE OPENING AT THE TOP for easy access compared with many similar products. Large folded towels and duvet covers go through without forcing or messing up the folding job. It's nice to have one handy in front of my dryer so clean things don't drool out onto the floor when I open the door after a cycle. With a basket with a smaller opening, it was more like the ping-pong-ball-into-the-fish-bowl futile exercise.2. LARGE AND STURDY for the price; having spent a ton of time comparing products and prices with each new purchase (including looking at Walmart, Target etc.), this has consistently been the best value through my several reorders. I can fit about a dozen bath towels, or a set of sheets, 2 pillow cases, duvet cover and a couple of towels in one basket.... pretty much whatever comes out of my large-capacity dryer will go into the basket.3. SIDE POCKET handy for anything you want to separate from the body. Not so much for heavy liquid detergent bottle as it could be hard on the mesh over time (see below under "cons") or cause the basket to tip over, but great for pulling socks out of the post-dryer gen pop, or sliding a piece of paper into the pocket for labeling such as "turnover", "beds", "donate" etc..4. SUPER EASY TO STORE these collapse or pop up in a fraction of a second, and I can slide at least six or eight of them into a two-inch space between the side of a dresser and a wall. When needed, they're ready for quick draw from their holster. I don't even slow down my walking pace.CONS: My only con is really just a note to the user. USE THE HANDLES TO LIFT EACH TIME. I find it's easy when I'm in a rush to grab the basket from wherever my hands land along the top wires of the frame even though the strong handles are right there and distribute the stress as designed. Over time, if you skip the handles when there is any weight to speak of in the basket, it will stress the mesh which may eventually tear; see second photo attached. This is my doing rather than a product defect, and I'm afraid I do it to every basket. Even with this, these baskets last beautifully.After trying a half a dozen hampers and baskets over recent years, I now have about ten of these collapsable baskets and use them every day for my furnished rental units as well as my household laundry.

Opened it up and filled it approx. halfway full of clothes and then picked it up and I heard a big tearing noise...huge rip in the mesh. Didn't even get one use out of the thing! I realize it is cheap (under $10), but it would have been nice to be able to use it a few times before having to throw it away.

I had a collapsible hamper that served me well for some 6 years but when I went to replace it my attempts turned into a horror story. There were so many offers of pure junk. Outright lies. Missing information made in China junk I was horrified. I even ordered and received a similar hamper that was like 12 inches tall and weighed about an ounce but I was charged 7.95 for shipping. I let them know how unhappy and misleading their product was. I did finally find this site and the hamper I was looking for. It is exactly what I wanted, good quality, honest product description and a good buy, no inflated shipping charges etc. I did not have to buy 2 to get one something that is totally dishonest and petty. It has a sufficient opening at the top some other hampers have such a small opening that one can hardly get the clothes in the hamper. This one has a side pocket that is strong and able to hold items without tearing. It easily holds two loads of laundry, you can easily see what is in the hamper without guessing. I can carry it up and down stairs and elevators by the handles and they to not tear. The mesh is strong without being too thick. Just right. I had to search a long time to find this one but it was worth the search. So much crappy junk out there it is overwhelming. Be careful we must hold these dishonest companies accountable otherwise more and more junk will be thrown our way.

I ordered 2 of these hampers for my place to make it easier to do laundry by presorting the whites and colors as I throw clothes into them. I have filled both to the brim with clothing and they seem to handle it well. I haven't found a use for the pocket on the side but it is a nice feature to have. I like that is mesh so that the clothes "breathe" while they're inside and that it is collapsible so that if I ever needed to move out, I could easily pack them. Overall a good hamper for the price.

Wrong product sent, did not match description - do not buy! Expecting item in picture, received a cheap draw string bag instead!

Great children's laundry hamper. Very cute and hold quite a bit. Very lite weight, so much so that when empty it can easily be moved.

Great product if you are older and have stairs!! I throw this down the stairs and the basket never breaks, and I can use my hand rails and not worry about carry it down. You can also drag it upstairs without the worry of it breaking either!!
