Good OE Replacement
Replace the thermostat in my 6.0 Diesel on my 2004 F350. This works well / as expected.

OEM
Works great. My 6. Powerstroke runs much better now that it is operating at the proper temperature.

Stick with OEM
OEM quality is always best. Reasonable price for an OEM part. I think my old one was stuck open, because once I installed this one the temp got to 190 and stayed there. Before that it would often be lower based on ambient temperature. I replaced it primarily because the truck needed a radiator and I always replace the t-stat when doing a radiator, but after I did I noticed on my electronic scanner that the temp was where it should be. Definitely blows hotter heat in the winter, and its better for engine wear to run the engine at the intended temperature. Fairly easy install. A wobble extension comes in handy. Take the t-stat and hose off together, then swap the hose over and reinstall. There isn't much room to mess with that spring clamp with it in place. Make sure the old o-ring comes with the old one, or remove it to avoid a leak due to stacked o-rings.

OEM thermostat for 6.0 Powerstroke
OEM Motorcraft part for 6.0 Powerstroke. So far so good in that it fits, seals (no leaks thus far) and functions properly. Four stars because I cannot comment as to it's longevity yet. Good price, fast delivery, genuine OEM part. Recommended.

Factory Motorcraft…the Best
Simple job to swap out the thermostat.I have an early ‘04 f350 which is the same as the 2003, so we have a small bracket that sits on top of the thermostat with (2) 13mm nuts. The exhaust back pressure sensor screws into the bracket.I also undid the fuel line closest to the thermostat from the fuel bowl as it gave me more room to access the right hand 13mm nut and bolt. The part is an Identical match to what I believe is the original part. I’m doing a coolant flush and adding the Mishimoto coolant filtration system I bought here from Amazon and I highly recommend for any 6.0 powerstroke. I figured while doing the fluid flush, let me change out the hoses along with the thermostat and a deep clean of the degas bottle too.Cheers
