The product works as expected, the unexpected part was all the extras. Multiple screen protectors, a rubber case, and a cleaning cloth.

UPDATE: Welp, it's completely dead. The charger receptacle seems to just not work anymore. I've tried multiple chargers, even bought a new one just to be absolutely sure. Nothing worked. And now that the battery within is dead, so is my investment into this product. It's possible I could crack this open and replace the part, but I shouldn't have to do that, now should I? Do not buy this product unless you wish to try your luck. Reduced it down to 1 stars. My older review is below. ------- It does what it says, however a few days after its return date, it began having problems connecting to my computer. Initially I simply needed to switch to a different USB port, but as of right this moment...no USB ports work. I keep getting an error, and Device Manager shows it as an "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)". I tried everything I could think of, including buying a new cable. Also tried it on a different computer with the same result. I then found out you can't do a full reset without - you guessed it - connecting it to a computer. Basically unless I can figure out the problem, I am unable to add anything else to this ipod. This is an extremely regretful purchase. And I won't even be able to replace this damn thing until next month. Great. Obviously, I won't be getting a new one from this supplier. I'll probably just find something else.

The device came packaged well! But there were some weird marks that looked like glue residue on the screen and the wheel that made it feel tacky. The marks did go away after applying the included screen protector. Same marks were on the metal back of the ipod, but those wiped away cleanly with no scratches. Everything works well, but my play button DOES NOT FEEL GOOD. The other 3 buttons feel great, but this play button feels like it's been through some use. The device works great, but every time I play/pause something I'm immediately reminded this is not a new device. The other 3 buttons click great, but just the play button feels mushy, there's no clear audible click like the others. Otherwise, the upgraded size and battery are there, and running an alternative OS on it works well too. If QA was better this would be 5 stars.

This iPod is amazing!!! First off, it arrived quickly and was packaged professionally. The box was sealed just like a brand new iPod, came with headphones and charger. It’s pretty much like having a brand new product!! I’ve charged it and loaded it up from iTunes, I’ve been bumping my favorite songs for 2 days now lol. Thank you soo much! I’ll have this iPod for a long time. I highly recommend

There are bubble wrap residue on the screen. Dont know how to remove. Been wiping everytime I use it. Maybe its inside the screen

Enjoy it the first time you use it because it will not work after that. Pretty cool retro paper weight though.

Freezes up after loading songs from iTunes and will not reset. This happened with two of them and Apple store could not get it to work. So, it was unusable.

it stopped working out of the return period a repair shop says a chip on the board died and fried the rest of the board was a great music player had 130+gb of songs on it will be buying another soon hopefully before i go to basic training
