We have tried other soaps, Dr Quatch is neither the cheapest or most expensive. However have to say the hype is entirely justified. The Pine Tar smells great and leaves you smelling fresh all day, we subscribed to regular shipments to save a little more money. From all that we have tried this is the best by far. Highly recommend.

Dr. Squatch Pine Tar is easily the best soap I've used. It's incredibly exfoliating, making your skin remarkably smooth. For the face, it's a revelation – you get facial-level smoothness without any of the usual hassle, and surprisingly, even though it's not big on lather. It's packed with natural ingredients, but honestly, it feels a bit expensive for no clear reason. While the bar size is reasonable, the cost doesn't quite align with its size. I highly recommend it

Keep it dry and it will last ages. Good exfoliation, but rather coarse too, so not amazing for exfoliating your face in the shower unless you are gentle. When it inevitably disintegrates after about two weeks, put it into a sisal soap bag and you will still get use out of it, only way really. There are better value options out there. Bare Bar (not available on Amazon, unfortunately) makes a better product.

I really don’t get the hype around this stuff. All their rivals are better. Black stuff, bare bar etc. this stuff loses its smell after a few washes and the bar crumbles apart. Not useable so now my first bar is in the bin (in 10 bits) Not recommended

Wonderful product, skin feels super clean and it smells very nice. Just make sure after you use it you use kicken roll to dry it off, I leave mine in the original box after dryed and used. If you don't it won't last very long. Shame it's a bit expensive for what it is.

Good Soap, lathers well and does leave you feeling clean without any harshness. But given all the hype about the fragrance of the soap I was very disappointed that the fragrance was barely discernable. No real smell of wood or bourbon in fact no real smell at all. expensive and disappointing.
