Lives up to its word
Brilliant book. Explains a complex method in a way that makes it seem easy and simple. It’s in bite sized chunks, so you can dip in and out as needed. And the author uses all sorts of examples to show the proof of his theory, how it applies in the real world, with big results. Definitely a book to read (and reread)

It does what it says on the tin.
Given to my daughter who has recently started her own on line business. Using the methods and ideas and showing to be working. Simple to follow and understand. Very helpful.

Great read, but doesn’t inspire a new start up
First of the only way he got to million followers in 30 days is posting on accounts that already had millions of followers…not exactly magic! There is a lot of very interesting information in the book but so many stories about multi million dollar companies and showing off working with celebrities but nothing about helping a one man band business. It gives you a lot but doesn’t give you exactly what you need leaving Kane constantly pointing you to his website and to work with his team (he will call it clever hooks ha). Had high hopes for this book and it’s ok but i hoped for more.

Extremely helpful
I really liked this book because Brendan explains his framework really well and gives great examples. Although I am a new entrepreneur, not a big company, I can see ideas that would work for me. Every chapter builds in the last and all are full of helpful advice no matter how big or small your company are.Highly recommend to anyone wanting to grow their business.

An interesting read
The media could not be loaded. I’ve enjoyed this book quite a bit and find it incredible insightful for the world of social media and just currency that is attention. Would highly recommend

Typical marketing BS
Not very good. Hook Point follows the classic marketing formula - take really basic business ideas, re-package them with a fancy name, and pretend you've come up with some groundbreaking new system.I'll save you the trouble of reading this book. "Create products that are more innovative than other products, then create marketing assets that people find interesting". That's it.The annoying that is that the writer keeps trying to sell us on the idea of a 'hook point', but it seems that a hook point is just anything that works in business. Someone came up with a good business idea? That's a hook point. Someone used new technology to deliver their service better? Also a hook point. Clever marketing strategy? Hook point. Good line of copy? Hook point. A hook point apparently is just "anything that works in sales, entertainment, advertising or business in general".In fact this book seems to be a rip-off of Robert Skrol's 'Retention Point' (which is a better book). The author even refers to some of the same businesses as Skrol as examples. Also it keeps referring you to the author's website, sometimes multiple times in one page.
