Better than I expected
I've been using this for a few weeks now, and it's working better than I would have expected for such a low-cost item. Sound is clear, there's no bluetooth signal loss due to movement, it's light and the controls are easy to understand.

Overall good
My only complaint really is the FM radio. I want to use wireless ear buds when working out but in order to get FM reception you must keep wired ear buds plugged in. They are the primary FM antenna.

Cannot get it to finish starting.
At first, I thought I was going to be pleased. This is slightly larger than the Sansa Clip line of players and the buttons are easy to press (unlike some of the others). I also liked the 32G memory and sd slot. The sound was good and I thought I would like this very much. After an initial load of several MP3 books and listening to them, I went back to load most of my library onto the device. When I turned on the device it indicated a 'searching' operation with a perseverance accomplished. I quickly went to 90% and stuck there. And stuck there and stuck there. I can cause it to restart using the on/off switch, but it always shows searching and gets stuck at 90%... see picture. I tried removing some MP3s thinking it needed more free space, but it still couldn't get past 90%. I tried letting the battery drain fully so that it would do a hard startup (this has worked on other players) no good here. Tried starting with and without using the removable SD card... No joy.The thing is now useless.+++ Update have successfully fully drained the battery and upon recharge it restarts and works fine. Upgrading this to three stars, but this should not have happened in the first place!!!For those who want to play AUDIBLE books: I noticed that there is an empty folder in the device memory labeled AUDIBLE. I tried to activate this device using Audible Manager (like Sandisk clip players) but there was not a corresponding device listed in Audible manager. I could try manually moving the activation file from an old player to this, but really decided not to try. I am moving away from Audible books and will be buying books in normal MP3 format because of the changes to the Audible purchase conditions. Going forward you cannot simply pay with a credit card, Apparently you must now have a monthly subscrption (and pay a fee) rather than a single cheap once a year membership fee. So Long Audible, Hello Audiobooks.com. I know this is less a function of this player than it is a consequence of Audible changes, but those who use Audible may wish to get an Audible Ready device.++++ 2nd updateOk, I have had this for several months. I really like using this player, although I could use a jump forward or back 15 seconds since using the touch screen for this is difficult. The thing I do not like is that every time I add or change things, it goes through the same endless restarting cycle that I originally complained about. This means I have to _completely_ drain the battery so it does a cold start. I expect it is rebuilding an internal database of content, and a cold start initializes the DB rather than trying to update it (this is a guess). For those that wish to use with Audible files, I suggest that PC users look for an app called OpenAudible, which will convert the files to unencrypted MP3 files. I also suggest moving from Audible to a seller of audio books in already in MP3 formats. Some distributors have their own sites, but may be difficult to find. Whatever you put on this player, I sincerely ask that you only use this on books, etc you have paid for and do not attempt share copy written files beyond your own use.

Not good....
Had a Sansa Clip for 8 years that sounded fantastic until the battery eventually stopped charging. Thought I'd give this one a try since it's fairly close in look and feel to the Sansa. Unfortunately the sound quality is nowhere close to the Sansa. Once you turn it up, it distorts and clips.

The most important thing to know is BUY A BLUETOOTH SANDISK, this was a $25 mistake
Pairing up Bluetooth is totally hit and miss . After 5 mp3 Bluetooth purchases in 7 years I'm no amateur to MP3 Bluetooth . This one is a joke. If you buy a 'Hugo', never expect it to perform like a Jaguar.
