An excellent equipment to have at all times with you. So helpful and convenient and it comes in a beautiful hard case kit box.

After watching several YouTube videos I committed to learning how the probe works. It about 95% accurate probing wise and 100% accurate in finding a open or short circuit. It's also important to lock in on the signal or else you'll be on goose chase. I recommend getting the yellow jacket probe needles although it's not practical for all applications except for cars. As a DIY I've already saved money on shop fees and hours on diagnostic charges.

Item was delivered in original factory box. The packaging was unsealed. However, the ECT3000B package contents were all sealed . Brand new condition. I have not used the system yet but did insert the included batteries into the receiver. It powered right up. I would rate this item a 5 if the shipper had better packaging.

Works great. I've used several times now, found the short pretty easily. Definitely worth the money!!!

I only needed the transmitter but it came with the receiver.

The device does not work as stated. I read the user manual. batteries The first two uses in the engine compartment of the car, the device gave only false alarms. It was impossible to find the right wire. The device was ringing everywhere. At the third connection, the transmitter began to show a short circuit, despite the fact that the probe was not connected. Reconnecting and replacing the batteries did not change the situation. It is impossible to use the device for its intended purpose. Wasted money. I do not recommend.

Very simple tool to use, wish something like this was available years ago, would have saved hours and hours of time trying to track a broken wire or short.
