I have various r/c planes, ships and wanted to try a truck. This one is sturdy, well made and has great battery life, 2 supplied. There is a ton of room in the battery bay to upgrade if required. Not so happy with the remote - it would have been nice if it was digital proportional for steering and speed, but you get what you pay for. Having said that, it works fine with a decent range of about 80 metres. This truck comes with sound and it would be nice to be able to turn it off as it is quite loud! If you want this to last for a little while then just run it out of the box. If you want it to perform well and last considerably longer then OIL IT!! I use silicone oil meant for treadmills and it works a treat. There are a fair few linkages relating to the suspension and steering and wheel bushes. After a go with the oil, it works superbly. It is not a fast truck but will run a lot better and longer with this simple trick. Plenty of fun to be had with this machine. Charger included.

Bought this for my grandson absolutely who loved it! Unfortunately, it stopped working after 2 months with seemingly no signal being received by the car from the controller. Made contact with the manufacturer who were excellent. Provided a video showing the problem and they immediately offered to provide a new car. The original car was out of stock, so they replaced it with a slightly more expensive one, which was received the day after! Shame about the original car, but cannot fault the after sales service.

The car is decent for the money and it is nice and big. It is also good that it comes with 2 batteries. However there is a fundamental problem with the controller that means if you turn the wheels too much the little plastic arm inside snaps off, rendering the whole thing useless. Our first controller broke within 2 days and DeeRC replaced it for us. I was using the car at the time and it certainly didn't turn the wheel very strongly, but it snapped. Now the second controller snapped in the same way. I contacted support and was referred to a £16 replacement unit - but since this is obviously very badly designed and breaks easily, I'm not keen to invest in what I know will be a problem. Steer clear of this unless you want a disappointed child.

3 days after get it the switch on contact was twiching so i tried to repair it. When I opened it I've noticed the poor quality of the board. Soldering ended up in complete failure as the board was burning out. Need an electronic board replacement as well as remote control board as it comes in pairs. Send me one, will pay for it.

My kid loves it, is was a little rough on it though. Manage to fix the suspension mounting he broke, but spare parts would be appreciated for this.

Great little car, it does run a bit slower on grass and battery does go quicker when using it on grass but it does come with two batteries so not a big issue. It's super fast on paths and for a kid it's great, if your genuinely looking for something for powerful for an adult then don't get this but it's great for my 4year old boy.

Pessimo prodotto. Regalato a Natale ed il 28 era già rotto. Prima il telecomando, che siamo riusciti ad aggiustare incollando il componente interno rotto. Poi un perno della macchinina...Troppa plastica e di scarsa qualità. Sconsigliato l'acquisto!

Ich habe den DEERC 1:8 Off-Road-Monstertruck für meinen Sohn gekauft, der sehr gerne damit spielt und insgesamt zufrieden ist. Der Monstertruck bietet ein realistisches Klangerlebnis und die 2,4 GHz Fernsteuerung ermöglicht eine stabile Verbindung. Besonders beeindruckend ist die Größe des Fahrzeugs und seine Fähigkeit, sich im Gelände zu bewegen. Leider muss ich jedoch die Qualität und Haltbarkeit des Produkts bemängeln. Beim ersten Kauf funktionierte der Antrieb auf der Hinterachse nicht, weshalb wir das Fahrzeug zurückschicken mussten. Der Austausch verlief problemlos, und wir erhielten schnell ein neues Fahrzeug. Beim zweiten Fahrzeug trat nach etwa einem Monat normaler Nutzung ein weiteres Problem auf: Die Fernbedienung war kaputt, da im Inneren etwas abgebrochen war. Zudem funktionierte die Lenkung nicht mehr richtig. Dies war natürlich enttäuschend, da mein Sohn das Auto wirklich gerne fährt und solche Probleme den Spielspaß erheblich beeinträchtigen. Positiv hervorzuheben ist der Kundenservice von DEERC. Der Kundenservice war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Nach Kontaktaufnahme wurde uns unentgeltlich ein Ersatzartikel zugesandt, was den ansonsten frustrierenden Vorfall etwas entschärfte. Fazit: Der DEERC 1:8 Off-Road-Monstertruck bietet viel Spaß und realistischen Klang, jedoch leidet das Fahrzeug unter Qualitätsmängeln. Die Probleme mit der Antriebseinheit und der Fernbedienung trüben das Gesamtbild erheblich. Dank des hervorragenden Kundenservice konnten die Defekte zwar behoben werden, doch bleibt ein gewisser Zweifel an der langfristigen Haltbarkeit des Produkts bestehen. Wer auf der Suche nach einem robusteren Modell ist, sollte eventuell andere Optionen in Betracht ziehen.
