Great investment!
I have been wanting this Ab Doer for years and finally got it and have been using it just about every day and love it!It really does help you to stay motivated because it's so easy to use! I have it in my living room and can watch pretty much a whole movie while doing my exercise so this makes me happy I'm not just sitting watching TV ... I'm actually putting my time to great use!

Do not buy!!!!
I purchased this and arrived on April 17, 2019. I was so excited to use this but i should have done more review research before just jumping on it and buying it. I used this everyday for 55 days that i had this except maybe 4 or 5 days. Today i went to use it and i started my workout like usual and noticed the resistance just was not there. I was using the highest 3 resistance band and got up to check it make sure it was all good. I leaned the top down to pull out the band and insert it again but the whold top fell off. The spring broke completely. I told my husband and he did a search and found other people who had purchased with hard earned money to help them lose weight or tone up and they had the same thing happen to them after they have had for a few months or even after 40-50 uses. So if you want to spend the $300.00 for something you can use for a few months then throw away go ahead otherwise buy something else that is alot less expensive. I know was hoping it would last for that much money, but right now it is in our garbage can waiting to go to the dump on garbage day. I was hoping to give it no stars but it made me give it 1 star but i do not recommend at all.

Good machine
Very impressed with the Ab Doer, did feel a little confused on arm bars, they need to be comfortable and not cause any pain under your arm.

Improved flexibility and core strength without having to get down on the floor!
I am over 60, overweight, have bad knees, bad neck, and significantly out of shape. So for me this is a great tool to get me back into shape (along with diet). I can’t easily do floor workouts due to bad knees and the effort to get up and down from the floor, and for abs I have a bad neck that makes many floor core exercises difficult. This tool allows me to work my core without having to get on the floor or strain my neck.I had this product for 6 months before I started using it (life got in the way). I’ve been using it for 45 days now, almost daily. I started with 15 repetitions on each side for a subset of excercises. I’m now up to 45 reps x 3 sets per side for each exercise, and 150 -300 leg aerobic reps with a twist. I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my core and back flexibility and strength. My balance has improved as a result. I’ve now ordered the bars to increase the resistance of the chair.*If you are already well along the path of strength training using traditional excercises this may not be for you, it will likely seem too easy unless you focus on a significant number of reps and speed.*If you you have had a back injury (I broke my back and neck in multiple places in a car accident years ago), or are significantly out of shape, or simply want a gentle way to tone up, this is a great tool.1. It’s a gentle way to work the core and the back without straining your neck or back2. It supports the back while doing the exercises3. It allows you to be seated, doing an effective core workout, and sparing your knees4. You can be creative with the exercises, varying them to pinpoint areas that need attention.5. You CAN get an aerobic effect with these exercises! Simply chose exercises that involve moving your entire body, engaging the legs and torso, and speed it up! Do seated twists for example.6. You can use it to stretch out the back, give your spine a nice stretch to open it up and get the kinks out. I haven’t bought the extra rollers and likely won’t. My need is the strength training and aerobics more than a back massage. But others might enjoy the extra rollers. Be aware the rollers are not to be used with the strength training because they limit the movement of the machine. They are simply for stretching and a sort of massage. The single roller that comes with the machine is enough for me... to be most effective it requires I use arm strength in the movement to pull the roller tight into my back if I want to feel the roller during the entire movement (crunches) which gives me some arm training also!FYI - It’s cheaper at Walmart (Dec 2018).
