iDesign Stackable Fridge Bin - Storage Bin for Freezer or Pantry Organization, Clear, Made in USA

These InterDesign Fridge and Freezer bins are just amazing! How do I like them? Let me count the ways ... (1) There are so many different dimensions, you are bound to be able to find the pieces that will fit your fridge or freezer space - I bought several of them, mixing and matching for a PERFECT FIT (see the photos). (2) They have EXPANDED STORAGE CAPACITY of my fridge/freezer by at least a 100% - after my first round of organizing, I was shocked (pleasantly) to find that I had freed up half my fridges/freezers! Needless to say, they didn't stay empty for long ^^ (3) They act like drawers, which means ACCESSIBLITY! Now, I can just pull out a tray/bin/drawer to retrieve bottles and jars at the back of the fridge/freezer - previously, I had to remove armful of them just to get at the one at the back, and then had to stuff them all back again - a mildly annoying task, if you know what I mean. (4) They are TRANSPARENT, which means I can see what's in each tray. In conclusion, I just love them. I was concerned at first, that there aren't enough holes in the sides of these trays - I was worried that the solid sides may impede the flow of cold air. So I tested them - I placed fridge/freezer thermometers in each/all of the trays - and they past with flying colours! Each tray registered the temperatures I was aiming for. Guess what? We have been using these containers for several years now, and have accumulated enough of them that our entire refrigerator is organized with them. With three Young kids, I have never had one crack, and that is saying something! I love that they prevent things from Leaking or spilling in the fridge and also prevent cardboard items from freezing or sticking to the shelves. They are great for condiments and things like butter and cream cheese spreads, pickles and yogurts, even juice boxes. I split all the sting cheese and cheese sticks apart and fill one for easy snacks. I also use them for fruit and produce. We usually have one with oranges and one with apples. It’s very easy for kids to grab something without tearing everything apart in the fridge. They are easy to wash. I’ve purchased them in a local store and via amazon, and the amazon price is lower with free shipping. InterDesign is the best brand I’ve had, and we have tried several.

These are made well enough to hols more heavy items. Great quality. The size is as described. Perfect for my sorting of items from work.

I live in an apartment with a "basic" refrigerator - no fancy shelves or drawers other than a "vegetables and everything else" drawer far away from the top freezer. I kept losing things like the last bit of a block of cheese, or half a baked potato, or those last two hot dogs that hid where I couldn't find them until it was too late to eat them. Therefore, I kept everything in the refrigerator in its own freezer bag or Stor-Keeper container. The InterDesign Refrigerator and Freezer Storage Bin that I just bought is really wonderful for organizing my old fridge. For a sandwich lover like myself, rooting around in the refrigerator while it loses its chill air is a thing of the past. Now I can keep all of my cheeses, lunchmeats, mustards, sauces, olives, and pickles in a Storage Bin ready for sandwich making. Then I can slide it out of the refrigerator an instant before closing it; place it on a kitchen counter; sort for today's sandwich ingredients; and return it to the refrigerator. It can also be used in a freezer to organize frozen meals, juices, and meats. There are other InterDesign Refrigerator and Freezer Storage Bins of many sizes designed for special needs. But IMO this shape and size of Refrigerator and Freezer Storage Bin is their most useful bin, good for any need. I intend to buy more and more of them until cleaning the fridge is simply a matter of lifting them from the shelves for a quick wipe-down. I'll still use quart-size Freezer bags to keep food in my refrigerator safe to eat, and the refrigerator itself clean and neat, as long as possible. When I totaled up the cost of all of the InterDesign Refrigerator and Freezer Storage Bins that I wanted to buy, it seemed like a lot. So I now buy them one or two at a time, and then take enough time to fit each bin into my habits and lifestyle before investing in more of them. So far, so good.

I have been ordering M-design pieces for several years and they always work very well. High-quality, durable, and attractive, they have changed the way I organize my house. And get this— a friend of mine, someone I’ve known for 18 years, was raving about her storage system. I told her that I only order M-design. She said that’s the brand she goes to as well! We found that funny because we both are very particular about our household organization.

We rented an apartment that has a basic refrigerator which doesn't have a "meat/dairy" bin of its own. Keeping it organized is kind of a pain! I saw this bin and decided to dry one out. I use this bin to keep sandwich materials sorted. I can keep two to six bags of shredded and sliced cheese, a pound or two of luncheon meats and a couple bottles of mustards all in one place which makes making sandwiches so incredibly easy. Pros • The handles are nicely molded. Because of this fact, you can easily pull it out of the fridge and carry it to the table or counter if you need to • Clear plastic cleans up nicely and easily • Holds a good number of cheeses and luncheon meat Cons: • Price. Maybe it’s just me, but I think the price point could be a little better. While it is a very specialized bin, it is made of plastic so I kind of find it hard to believe that it’s that expensive to make. However, I do like the bins and the purpose they serve, so I will likely (grudgingly) buy one or two more.
