Start Learning one or 17 languages
This is a great way to get you and your family learning different languages for common items, like an umbrella, a cup, a chair and more. It makes it easier to identify a specific item and retain it with these beautiful photographs turned to flash cards or memory cards. Since there are 17 languages you can learn, you can start with one language, go through the 50 cards and start learning another language. Great for memory and great for learning the language. The Stages Learning Company has additional packs so that you can further your knew skills.

Ok but flimsy & some outdated pics
I agree with others...the pictures seem dated, especially the ones I’ve attached. I haven’t seen these items in over a decade; so, I know my clients (1-4 yo) have not. Also, the card stock is flimsy. I’m using this with little ones and will have to laminate them to ensure they last longer than month of doing therapy with toddlers and pre-schoolers. Other than that, the other pictures provided will suffice and will meet my needs for therapy. Oh, I like the size...doesn’t take up too much space. The box they come in is pretty sturdy; so, it will most likely survive in my bag of therapy materials.

Lack of pronunciation on cards makes it difficult to get the language right
I thought this would be a great set of cards to brush up on my language skills. I also like that it has multiple different languages on the same card so you can learn more things as you go. The pictures are bright and colorful and the reference point for the languages is easy to read on the template card. What I don't like is the fact that there is no pronunciation guide for the words. It will give you the word in English, Spanish, French, etc. but does not give the sounded out pronunciation (like words in the dictionary). For example, the Spanish word for radio is "radio" but it is not pronounced "ray-dee-oh" like in English. If I had not taken years of high school Spanish, I would not know this.My biggest complaint is that it has words listed in Greek, in the Greek alphabet, but has zero way to say the word. It looks like a bunch of symbols and that is it. It gives new meaning to the adage "It's all Greek to me."While I appreciate the opportunity to brush up on my language skills, I find this product sorely lacking in important parts of learning and developing a better vocabulary.

All of the Stages Learning Materials language builder flash cards ...
All of the Stages Learning Materials language builder flash cards are made of high quality material that will last for a long time. The colors are bright and captures the students attention. There is a code card with codes to let you know what language the words are written in on the back of the cards. I feel they could have eliminated the code card and just wrote next to the word, which language it is in instead of needing to reference the code card.

Good
The words included are very common objects, which is good for beginners. The real-life photos of the objects prevent unnecessary guessing during learning. The only thing is that the size. I wish they were bigger. These are best for one-on-one, not a group size of students.

So helpful
My husband has Aphasia and I have found this very helpful. I have purchased many sets of flashcards but this is the best so far.

Las imágenes no son actuales
La calidad de impresión y de cartón es bueno, pero las imágenes no están actualizadas, hay objetos que ya no se usan o no se ven actualmente como en la imagen (por ejemplo, incluyen una grabadora, una televisión muy antigua, muebles anticuados). Es una buena herramienta en terapia de lenguaje para adultos, pues no son imágenes infantiles, pero deberían actualizar las fotos.
