Best western filmed in decades.
Such an incredible series worthy of multiple viewings. The cast is perfect and Costner shines as the patriarch of the family business.

Great
First off this is not a review of the show but of the delivery and condition of product. Very happy. Was brand new and still wrapped. Box was in great shape. All of the cases were in perfect condition with no cracks or breaks, and the discs fit very well. All of the discs were spotless. Haven't watched any of them yet but if I have any problems with them playing I'll update this review. No complaints.

Excellence
This show is excellent. I had not watched Yellowstone, but my sister-in-law recommended it She said there is a lot of cursing and some violence, a little nudity, and lots of drinking, but it is well worth ignoring that to savor the beauty of the setting, the story, and the top-notch cast who portray the inhabitants of the fascinating realm of the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch. She was not wrong. This is the best show I have ever seen, no exaggeration. My previous best of, holy grail of TV greatness are Madmen and the Sopranos. But I have to say Yellowstone is superior.Such tragedy and sacrifice and so many damaged people make this as real as it gets. I cry at least once during each episode, especially scenes like the corral dance and the porch scenes with Beth and Rip. It may not have been planned from the onset, but their relationship is the heart of the story. I sure hope we get an eventual happy ending with the ranch preserved and the two of them running it.I started watching a bit when Paramount had a Father's Day marathon. Needless to say I did not get much done that weekend. I missed some of the story though, and am boycotting anything NBC, so I ordered these discs. God forbid when the show actually ends, but I am sure I will buy the complete series set as well. I hope it comes with an inflatable Rip Wheeler so "I will never have to live another day without him"!As to the disc set itself. It is fine. There is nothing fancy here, no booklet listing the episodes with a brief synopsis or cast pictures, etc. I have not watched all of the special features yet, but I do not remember seeing any bloopers or out takes, so there are no real extras. I would still highly recommend this set. If you do not already have the individual seasons, just buy this.

Great Series!
Where do I start? Well, Beth (Kelly Reilly) is my kind of girl! She is most engaging, entertaining, very beautiful and just great! You go girl!! :) Her "selective" language was written by the creator of the show, so it does not reflect on Kelly personally.Rip is the perfect partner for Beth. What a kind and sensitive man he is with a tough and difficult job, dictated to him by John Dutton! Besides, Cole Hauser is very handsome too! 👍What we did not like at all were the females in the bunkhouse. This was totally out of place and created unnecessary discord. If the filmmakers wanted female ranch hands, they should have given them separate quarters to live in. The Texas female ranch hand, Teeter, was a fine person! All in all, Beth and Rip carried the show!Jimmy, on the other hand, was a wonderful success story, from meth cook to future husband of the vet of the 6666 ranch in Texas. You go Jimmy!I had to re-write this feedback since Kevin Costner turned out to be so very disappointing. We will not buy season 5, we are done with Yellowstone! This show had so much potential, but right at the beginning the oldest son of the ranch was killed, and then Mrs. Dutton was killed by falling off a horse. As it turned out, Beth was unable to bear children, compliment of her "adopted" brother Jamie, who took Beth as a pregnant teenager to an abortion clinic where he arranged for his little sister Beth to have a hysterectomy. This was supposed to be about a family dynasty, but in essence it turned out to be all about "John Dutton."

I really Loved this show
I really loved the show, The acting and story line were all excellent. I got the blu ray edition, the picture and sound is great. I plan on getting the two pre-seasons and season 5 when it becomes fully available. What I did have an issue with was the volume levels, when they were talking intimately the volume was way too low and when there was action the volume was way too high. So I was always adjusting the volume all the way through the series, a hassle and a half, just plain poor mastering of the discs. I also noticed numerous times when changing scenes and in-between episodes there were abrupt shifts to black screens, no fade or easing into the next scene / episode. Once again just plain poor editing. But this really is a great show, numbers times through the show I laughed out loud, was blown away, the scenery is unbelievable. I was rooting for the Duttons all the way through the series. John Dutton should run for President.
