MMG55 running again
My Magnum MMG55 diesel backup generator was equipped with two of these, after it failed to start I called a mechanic who said head gasket was bad & he wants $4000 to repair it, I decided to just sell the generator as is but then a neighbor mentioned about bad solenoid where I ordered two of these and installed them myself in about 20 minutes, the generator cranked up right away. a $4000 saving? Lesson learned, no mechanic is authorized here ever again.

False claim as continues duty
Read manufacturer's less obvious details of expected run time of 5 seconds with 25 minute cooling time requirement before you buy. This is intended as starter solenoid as it rapidly gets VERY hot. It is not compatible with my battery isolation intentions (requiring a true continuous duty solenoid). It does looks like a quality stainless steel product on the outside... My error in jumping to purchase without give 100% attention to the fine print retraction of bold claims in cover of critical details.

Burned up fast
Relay was awesome for about a weekend. Then burned up causing race car to overheat. I use this relay to trigger a heavy amperage fan (80amps) & figured this relay would be perfect for what i need. But i was wrong. Will not be purchasing again. Stay away.
