Surprisingly good
I bought one of these for that bathroom that my two sons share (they are 7). They use sonicare toothbrushes and it works great for them. It was so nice, I got one for my wife and my bathroom as well.It is very easy to attach a tube, you just push it down and give it a couple of twists. The toothpaste dispenses on the brush pretty well. Once in a while some falls of the brush and ends up on the dispenser, but not too often. It's very easy to clean when that happens. Usually I can just wipe it off with a finger, but if it needs a more thorough clean, the entire front panel snaps off easily and the part you push with your toothbrush also comes out very easily, just a little squeeze and it detaches. Those are really the only two parts that could conceivably get toothpaste on them.I didn't use the included mounting tape because it seems like if I ever needed to remove it in the future it would take a good chunk of the drywall with it. I used 3M's Command hanging strips. They are sort of like velcro but more secure. You can take the entire thing off the wall and stick it back up if you want and then if you decide you don't want it anymore, the strips are able to be removed off the wall with no damage whatsoever. I use them for hanging artwork in my house as well. I've removed strips that have been up for years and as long as you do it properly, they come off clean. So the toothpaste dispenser is really really great, especially for the price. Only complaint is that they put the stupid logo right on the front, making it look cheap. Would be nice to have a clean front, or maybe to have options for higher end finishes, like brushed nickel or wood grain or something.

Do Not Buy - unless you are ok with disassembling and cleaning daily
Purchased 4 of these mainly to reduce the waste and mess that kids leave behind after attempting to apply their own toothpaste. Our two primary reasons for purchase turned out to be the two greatest weaknesses of this product. I assumed there was potential for mess but that careful use of the device could reduce or eliminate the chance for such a mess to occur. Not true at all, it is a mess every time regardless of how careful one may be.First - the two "different areas", where kids and adults are meant to depress the internal lever to dispense the appropriate amount of toothpaste respectively, are one and the same. The difference is that the kid spot on the lever is a few millimeters higher than the adult spot so when removing the toothbrush head, less lands on the head and the remainder drops onto the lever and interior of the device to dry and make a huge mess. Second - toothpaste comes out of the designated dispensing hole as well as ALL above and around it so that it's completely covered by the 4th or 5th careful use by an adult. For kids, plan to disassemble and clean daily unless you like the look and feel of gobs of dried toothpaste all over the inside where your next dollop of toothpaste will be dispensed. We wasted more toothpaste testing these flawed designs in two weeks than we have over the last 5 years with 4 kids. While some of that mess is contained in the device, the rest of it is all over the bathroom. It's a waste of time, effort and money if the goal is to reduce waste and mess. I'm not certain what these would be good for but definitely not conserving toothpaste and reducing bathroom messes.

Takes some time getting it right
The media could not be loaded. This was easy to install, the suction power is really good and sturdy feeling. Looks just like the picture. At first I had trouble knowing where to push my brush into, I would just keep trying to stick my brush in there and it didn’t feel consistent on the amount of toothpaste that comes out and where it comes out. I have an electric toothbrush (the small circle brush kind), so it would end up below the brush or getting too much paste on my brush. It ended up with toothpaste all over the slot in just a week. However, it was easy to take off the wall (it slides into the adhesive part) and clean. Now that I’ve had more time with it, I am able to get the feel down better for the right amount and place of toothpaste (still working to refine it if you watch my video). I still keep opening my drawer a few times a week looking for the toothpaste, which is pretty funny that it is that much of an ingrained habit most of my life.As far as aesthetics, it doesn’t look too bad and frees up surface space. I wish the toothpaste tube could be a little more discreet, but there’s no other way I think that would look good and work. All in all, I like this dispenser. Is it necessary? No. But is it a functional little gadget for your bathroom? Yes. Once you get the feel of it for your brush and amount of toothpaste, it works well and is easy to clean.
